Just letting you know Martinj, even though its probably not important, but a couple of your spoiler boxes appear to have failed, specifically your "Spells Prepared" and "Gear" ones :)
So judging by your hunger for gaming I'll probably do the opening for the game done up in an hour or two :)
Yeah, I had the day off from work and the right opportunity seemed to come along. Normally my posts are EST either early morning or evening only... but in this case I had nothing but time to latch onto your recruitment and flesh out a character from scratch.
Glad to know others are pretty excited as well though. Looks like a good cast.
Fixed! I've got work in like an hour and a half, but my classes don't start for another 4, so I should be able to get in at least one post. I'm off tomorrow, though, so I should that's when my character will really start to take off.
No stress guys, I can run along at a fair clip but I understand real life intruding on gaming, even via the pbp medium, so I'll aim for a one or two posts per day with myself probably posting more since I'm meant to be running things :)
Oh, and if someone needs the weekends or something off just give me a heads up so I don't think you dropped :P
So just curious here, what time zone is everyone in?
I'm PST but I work graves so I might as well be 12 hours off from that.
I'm at work so don't have access to the players guide on my phone but give me about two hours and I'll be ready except for 1 trait.
I'm Western Australian which I believe puts me at GMT+8 but I could be flubbing that :)
Also a tester for using flickr for my maps...
Oh and a key which isn't a 100% set in stone yet.
Blue Names = Players
Gray Names = NPCs
Orange Names = Enemies (Mainly cause they're orange sea scorpions)
Dodgey Sword = The Pile of gear
Brown Square = Beach Sand
Blue Square = Ocean
Green Square = Jungle
So Basically I'm hoping we'll be able to do things like...
That map looks pretty good. It's very clear to me. I'm in Mountain Time, which is GMT -6, I believe.
Oh and no rush on Fugg, It'll take me a little while to get fully set up since I want this to be a fairly decent game that will hopefully run the full AP so I'm doing my best not to rush myself too much :)
Avoiding burn out and all that, though nothing really to burn out on yet :)
Oh, and on the map, I'll probably only update the map once each full round so you'll have to use you imaginations between character turns since making a map for every round would kill me :P
Okay thanks. I have enough to start still have to pick my feat and spend cash, may have better armor than I have calculated(leather), haven't picked a weapon yet I'm leaning towards a club.
