Just read about the Ubermann-sleep-method. Power nappings of 12X10 mins per day and you should feel great...results vary though :)

Its surprising how long you can go on without 'proper' sleep.
Our Sleep Deprivation exercises are fun, but sometimes you begin to hallucinate at night when looking through the NVG's. People start tripping out after a few days, though sadly I didn't see anything worthwhile.

In rural North Carolina, Pop is the generic term for cola or really any soda. I encountered that a lot. Brand loyalty did not seem important. "If you are going to the store, get me a pop." is a common request.
Not me though, I am usually quite specific in requesting my Sarsaparilla.
Ordering a pop drink in the U.S. (correct me if you're from somewhere else) is like ordering a "Erfrischungsgetränk" in Germany, I guess. The phrase is utterly outdated (a translation would be something like refreshing drink).

I tend to say "pop" but my preference is Dr. Pepper. I use "pop" as a generic term meaning carbonated, high-fructose syrup, flavoring and food coloring drink. People on MySpace one tried to force me to say "soda" instead because it was "cute when girls say soda". I would not. Incidentally, I hear people regularly say "pop", "soda" "soda pop" and "coke" as generic terms for these fizzy drinks in Kansas.

Hey guys! Sorry for the absence, but I'm about to get into that. So, this may or may not come as a surprise, but I've been giving it alot of thought and I've decided that I'd like to retire Sweeney from this campaign. Honestly I've just been finding it harder to concentrate on this game as of late, as I've been diverting my time and energy away to other things. With this new GM of ours the game seems to be in very good hands, and I would not want to continue to lag behind while the game progresses.
I've enjoyed playing this character with you all, and hopefully you've enjoyed Sweeney's smart-assedness (is that a word? oh well, if not, it is now lol). I hope you guys continue to have fun with this campaign, and I may even pop in from time to time to read up on what's happening in-game. Thanks for the fun times and great roleplaying, it's been good. Peace out, girl scouts!

Well I've been giving it thought, and I think I'm going to try to reboot a tabletop game I started a few years ago.
The entire game focuses around the Blood War, and currently it's the only campaign I have an endgame in mind for. I'll gladly answer any questions before I actually get it rolling so you privileged few have a little better insight than future applicants.
The game is called Bloody Kisses.
So, Shruiken aka Kira Moonsong applied in Zyren's recruitment threads for one of the games, then changed the post, then removed it completely. LOL.
Shuri was in HOD earlier and left when they left SD.
What's so funny about it, is Shuri told Tom he didn't have the time to keep up with our game and that is what led to him exiting the game. He couldn't admit that he knew he was pissing everyone in the game off and wanted to leave before his character got killed. Apparently he has the time now!
Looks like he's reapplied.
Hope everyone is content with the short progress we had together. It's sad that we live in such different timezones, but I just hope you can use the time for in-party rp while I'm off :)

made a slight adjustment to character stats - forgot the +2 to any ability so Str is beefed up now.
Im in the EST and can post multiple times a day during the week albeit a little slower on the weekends.

Yeah, Zyren comes on usually about 12:30 - 1:00 am my time (CST) so I've been staying up a bit later and later each night, lol. Since I'm never up before 10:00 am these days, I'd rather stay up a bit late than try to wake up a bit early. Zyren's usually still on for a little while when I get up too, but less active. Seems Winter is very active during those times as well.
I'm usually very active during my morning which is 7.30 GMT+1 - 10 GMT +1
Then sporadically over the day and then again in the evening from 20.00 to 21.00 :)
Btw. I hope you guys like the way I continue Tom's legacy and I hope you haven't felt too much of a "disruption" after I took over.
As long as Sebastian keeps getting the pretty girls things are great, although he will have to keep an eye on Winter if those rumors in the Golden Goblin are true.
Doing a great job and things are moving along nicely.

^^^Since I wasnt around before the disruption I can only go on what Ive experienced since Ive started and its easy to say that you do a fecking awesome job Zyren. Serioulsy its great how descriptive and active you and everybody in the party are. Ive rp'd since the early 80's but only just began doing pbp a month or so ago (Ill gladly take any pointers btw) and the first game I got in died in under 2 weeks. This looks like a game that will withstand the distance.
and now that Ive buttered you up...I just got the APG and was wondering if I could apply the Weapon Master option to Kabal?
Zyren, I'm thoroughly enjoying seeing the game up and running again. It's a bit frustrating that we have such different hours, but even with that being the case you are still much more active than what Tom was able to be and so it is making the game more pleasurable. I'm glad that I was able to incorporate a bit of her history into the game, for me that adds to the suspension of disbelief and makes Bree feel more dynamic. Thanks again for taking us on.
I've just been informed that Sable has a particularly busy day tomorrow and may not get the chance to post tomorrow.
