On the bright side, I managed to get out of working on my birthday...

...by still not being over this stupid bronchitis. Back to bed it is.

Then you could have dressed like this.

Yes, we did. Yes, it was just as awful then.

Original badass.

I cannot wait to see The Eldritch Mr. Shiny cosplay this. Talk about 70's chic!

I shouldn't laugh or something terrible will happen in 'Thirst'.

Is that a good thing?

Get some less noisy shirts and I'm on board with it.

Come to think of it... with some less noisy shirts that's kinda how I looked for most of the 90's... :-O

I blame PTSD.

In NWN, you shift alignment at 25 and 75 out of 100 on the particular scale being shifted (100 being fully Good or Lawful, 0 being fully Chaotic or Evil, so for example a Lawful Evil character would have less than 25 on the Good/Evil scale and more than 75 on the Law/Chaos one). So even after passing the alignment shift threshold you can still shift further.

And even if you're at 100 or 0, the game still gives you the "shifted X points" when an act that would shift you is committed.

See, that's something that should have been caught during testing.

Apparently almost getting killed by zombies makes you afraid of heights. Who knew?

The brain can do some truly silly things.

Way back when, I ended up getting a nasty intestinal bug. The last thing I did before becoming really sick was play Netrunner with friends at work. For about a year, I couldn't play the game without getting nauseated.

Took me until five years after my depression ended before I could listen to Al Green or Marvin Gaye without feeling down.

Which was almost cause enough to develop a second depression if you ask me.

And I still hate the sound of the phone ringing.

I don't consider it a bug personally >_>

They have Star Wars. Brace yourself and your doomed brain cells.

Oh, and good morning everyone.

I do have some small hope. They did all right with Avengers. And this is the company the gave us The Black Hole - an awesome scifi flick.

I can no longer bring myself to eat kit kat bars since they came out with those annoying musical snap commercials.

Yet another reason to be happy I don't watch TV.

LOL! Now I've seen it all. A wise ass and a zombie all in one.

Back from the con. .. will post pics eventually. So tired. ..

I was sleepy around 21:00 so I lied down for 45 minutes and then it passed and now is five in the morning... I think that sky is getting brighter.

I would go to bed earlier but today's Derp Heresy session was canceled.

So, I fought the f&!*ing snow for almost an hour to get to work tonight instead of calling off like I wanted too, and when I got here the assistant manager was here ready to cover my shift. Could have called off guilt free. But I need the money, so as long as I don't wreck on my way home in the morning, I guess I'll come out ahead. Also, I suppose I have shown that I am reliable, so maybe that will be a plus when the time comes to discuss a raise.

I hope this flu goes away fast.

Thankfully they put me to do paperwork today at work...

Hahah, now I feel like making a legendary Hobgoblin Ironskin Monk / Brother of the Seal with a voice, appearance and personality similar to Shura King Alkaid Nassh of Super Robot Wars. I blame his theme for that, really. Would be funny putting the PCs up against a guy who could (with a good roll) punch them through at least three walls, though he'd have to be like character level 13+ (5 Monk / 8 Seal) to do that.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Not-so-happy Monday! Craptastic weather here today. Oddly enough, however, it didn't really delay me getting to work.

Scarab Sages

Damn FHDM! You really cranked up the weather dominator, didn't you? It seems set to "winter's last gasp snowpocalypse".

Scarab Sages

Ugh! There are some mornings when I really hate the coffee here at work. I can't help it. Maxwell House just isn't that good.

Scarab Sages

I like Folgers. Keep some of that at home, along with my Green Mountain Coffee Colombian Fair Trade Select k-cups.

Scarab Sages

Happy that Walking Dead is so awesome. Sad that it's almost over. Next week is the season finale. I'll watch that while Game of Thrones premier is recording.

Scarab Sages

Of course, we're only expected to get one to three inches of snow, but it sure seems like a lot more out there.

Scarab Sages

Stoopid winter. You're day is almost done!!

My brother bought The Hobbit for his kids. While I was talking to him yesterday, he put me on speaker phone so his older daughter (my godchild) could say to me "My Precious! You stole my Precious!"

I was so proud.

She's awesome, my godchild. When she was itty, bitty (or itty bitty-er, since she's still tiny), I bought her the pinkBaby Cthulhu. She loved it. Later, I bought her the Witch-themed one. She loved that one as well.

They creeped her older brother out, though. So she started leaving them in his room whenever he wasn't looking.

Again....proud.

Scarab Sages

She's a tiny little thing. Two years older than Charlie, and not much bigger.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of the boy - We were at Target yesterday and had a $20 gift card left over from his birthday. So we bought him a Little People pirate ship. He loves it.

Some of the folks who have FB (i.e. NOT FHDM) will have seen the picture of him playing with it.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, folks. It's Monday. Stuff to do. Later

Work work.
