Naked homework time? Not sure how I feel about that. Ah well. At least we're on a new page.

I think there was something that I wanted to post but I forgot it while reading through the insanity of this thread...

Shadow Lodge

I have that problem a lot.

Cancer sucks.

I hate cancer with a loathing I reserve for few things.

I am so sorry to hear this.

I hate cancer, but I love pears. As irony would have it, I am a Cancer. I don't think crabs eat pears, though.

Liberty's Edge

No, they eat genitals.

I still hate gnomes, can we please replace them with an interesting race please. I`d even prefer kobolds as a core race over gnomes.

Saturday - For those following the HK&HDCA D-grade semi finals (who isn't), we bowled out the vile and ignoble Kissing Point for 85 (Dementrius 11-5-0-9) and at stumps we scraped to 3/24. Not exactly great entertainment for the neutral fans.

Sunday - Rise of the Runelords game. ** spoiler omitted **

This Friday - Song of Fire and Ice RPG!

Gets off edge of seat and unbates breath.

What should I use to draw my campaign setting map?
I used to use pencils, crayons, and then colored pencils. These days I use CC3. It's an awesome little program with some great stuff you can add to it.
I hear it has a steep learning curve. Is it worth buying and learning for a single map? (Yes, I know it'll be there should I enjoy it and want to make more.)

I was familiar with similar programs, so for me it was not so bad. But, yes, it can be a bit tricksie, just like hobbitses.

Liberty's Edge

That was a lot of posts to catch up on.

I was kinda spoilering myself about it last night.

Finwicket can kiss my plastic painted ass.

Last time I GMd I drew out a map, that was pretty fun.

I've never used a battle grid though. The battles took place in everyone's heads. I (and all my players) always forgot that 5 foot steps and AoO existed...

Oh, I'm no more informed than I was, don't worry about that.

My description needs more work before I can run matless combat.

I'm thinking now might be a good time for fawlties to go for cancer screenings. We need to make it go the old folks home for gamination, this might be a good idea.

Beats me brother, when I saw the blow up here I stayed offline out of respect for PMG.

I can never understand who is where from description alone. But dots on a piece of paper seem to fill in that gap just fine. It doesn't even have to be to scale. And play goes so much faster without the mat.

Finally got that math homework done. Time to go get ready for bed. Only an hour late.

And it's not so much that induction is hard. It's that math textbooks and teachers make too many assumptions without explanations. Once I figured out the exceptionally simple part of the explanation they kept leaving out the oroblem only took five minutes. But it took an hour to track down the missing step. :/

The Exchange

I like games usually without a mat or mini's. Not that they can't sometimes, many times be useful. But it makes for a more "fog of war" outcome if it is not all right there in front of you.
