OK, this test is all kinds of fun.
My score: 56.2% light
- 68% Faith in humanity
- 62% Humanism (seeing value in every person)
- 100% Kantianism (treating people decently)
- 0% Narcissism (and the fish pants celebrate)
- 18% Psychopathy
- 42% MachiavellianismPersonally I disagree. I think my faith in humanity is MUCH lower and my humanism is higher.
As I always say, individually, people are good. Once you get more than 5 of them together, they become the most evil force in the universe.
you are tilted 22.92%

Hmp. I never got actual numbers.
You luckies.
Took it again, trying to do the same answers (being just as honest), but I clearly gave something different.
Based on your replies to the test questions, you are tilted 27.08% to the light side! Note: each of us has a mix of light and dark facets within us. Also, personality traits can change. You might want to use this information as an opportunity for self-reflection and growth.
How do you guys get such precise numbers from the bar graphs?
The following is "as close as I can tell" from my bar graph page.
Faith in humanity: "significantly above 60, below 80"
Humanism: "significantly above 60, below 80"
Kantianims: "above sixty, below 80"
Narcissism: "a bit below sixty"
Psychopathy: "a hedge above 20, significantly below 40"
Machiavellian: "a hedge below 60, significantly above 40"
That's about the best as I can gather from looking at bars.
Seen Yoda twice, so I'm guessing everyone does every time?

Hi, everyone. Well, this sucks. It looks like I'll be pulling another double shift tomorrow. The morning guard will have to attend his actual trial in Traffic Court, and I don't think that there's a replacement for the guard that lost his car. Thing is, when I'm here in the morning, I have to wake up at two. And, when I leave here, I get home at one. So, that means that there's no point in going home for just an hour. So, I have to stay here, overnight, trying to get some sleep in this office chair. And trying hard to avoid saying all the foul words I know in a constant stream. Lucky me.

So, anyone know anything about modern roofing?
I'm old-school, so I figured when I asked the roofers to do a "full rip-and-replace" they'd:
(1) Rip up the old plywood, exposing all the rafters
(2) Replace any rotten rafters
(3) Insulate
(4) Put new plywood on
(5) Put on the rest of the roofing (paper, shingles, etc.)
The first crew was here for 4 hours, and they very dutifully scraped the shingles and tar paper off the roof and garage, exposing the plywood but not removing it. They're obviously not done; there are bits of obviously-rotten wood all over the roof.
So I'm not understanding going to all the trouble of scraping the roof. Was it because of disposal regulations? (Old shingles go to this dump, plywood this other dump.) Because it's easier? (Pulling plywood goes more smoothly when it's not covered with crap.) If they start laying down new roofing over all the rotten wood I will be most displeased.
So what the heck are they going to do next? I'm all curiosity...

OK, this test is all kinds of fun.
Hmmmmm…
*Takes the test*
My score: 14.58% light
- Around 64% Faith in humanity (Probably about right)
- Around 61% Humanism (Slightly low-ish)
- Around 76% Kantianism (Blegh...this should be lower simply because Kants in the name)
- Around 42% Narcissism (I'm a confirmed egocentric so that seems about right)
- Around 91% Psychopathy (That's...a bit high)
- Around 24% Machiavellianism (That's maybe a bit low?)
Can't help but wonder if there's a combination of answers that would level out all the categories in around the 60's range...
Eh, don't put too much stock in tests like this.
Though will say that most of my gaming buddies or friends tend to describe me (affectionately) as a 'Cynical and conniving a$+#+' but they still let me babysit (or pet-sit) so it can't be that bad ^^
Also, I apologize if I've been unpleasant, been going through a lot of rough stuff recently.

In other (Work) related news:
I've been hired on by the riding-school where I've been temp-ing for at least the next 9 months (on a renewable contract), which is why I've been around here much less lately.
Most of the time have been spend on introductions, making schedules, meeting the new colleagues, learning the new work routines and of course meeting and nuzzling the new horses I'm working with.
I'll be working more hours then I'm used too, so I'll probably not be around here as much, but I'll try too stay connected as much as I can.
Hope I get the time to write more tomorrow, as I kind off have more I would like to float here for more personal reasons…but as usual I'm a both short on time...and well, trigger shy ^^'

Differences between the Bay Area and Texas, page 896:
In the East Bay, if the temp climbs above 70 for more than a few hours, every stretch of vaguely-cleanish shorefront is packed with people: kids playing in the water, adults sitting on blankets or sun chairs. It's crowded, noisy, and not a lot of fun.
It was 84 today, so I ran home on my lunch break, grabbed a picnic blanket and threw some sandwiches together, and as soon as school was out, we drove a little bit north to one of the larger CoE lakes in the area. The beach was completely deserted the entire time we were there, and it was clean... the sand, the grass, the water. CLEAN. The kids swam in their clothes because I forgot their swimsuits and then rode home in towels. And I saw seagulls for the first time since August, which was lovely.

I'm not bothered with dirt but the last time I slept on a concrete floor I was aching the next day. So I don't think I can recommend that.

Three old men went to a doctor for a memory test. The doctor asked the first man "What is 2 times 2?" The man said "194." The doctor shook his head and moved on to the next. He asked the second man "What is 2 times 2?" The man replied "Thursday." The doctor shook his head again, and moved to the third man. Again he asked "What is 2 times 2?" The third man replied "4." The doctor smiled and left the room. The first two men turned to the third and asked "How did you get 4?" The third man said "Easy. I subtracted Thursday from 194."

More seriously, I guess Game of Thrones is coming back on soon. I've been hearing people talk about it on the radio, trying to guess what's going to happen. Personally, I think the best way for it to end is with three little words:
Single. Reactor. Ignition.
Actually, I wish it had ended before he ever wrote any of the books. That would have been ideal.
