Why a will save to notice the poison's effect rather than a perception check? Is there some narcotic effect?
I was on the fence about that, and I basically just decided on a Will save over Perception, with no real basis for my decision. :)
Perception works better, though, so I'll change it.

Sorry, my knowledge of Central Park comes from television and film, and it seems like people get murdered, mugged, or otherwise harmed every 15 seconds there.
The key is to make sure you are a murderer, not a murderee.
That said, I can neither confirm nor deny my whereabouts yesterday between 2 and 2:30 pm.

I hate having short hair. There's nothing to weigh down the curl. It's a good thing I own lots of hats. :(
So in addition to another bad hair day, today is not looking up. I have to try and call Microsoft again about the computer I ordered. They were supposed to take care of it after the first time I called (I think?) But no such luck. And I can't hear/understand what the person is saying on the other end of the phone. Why the [expletive deleted] does [expletive deleted]Microsoft not have an email or live chat option to contact customer service??? I don't even want anything special from them. I just want them to [expletive deleted]ship the [expletive deleted]computer I ordered from them over two weeks ago...Is this really so much to ask?
Hmmm.....if I add more [expletive deleted]s I can probably re-post that in the rant thread...

One of today's dreams involved police car transporting some sort of important device (overseen by Jim Brass from CSI) along the road near my area with me jumping or flying around. It also involved some superheroes - Spiderman and me as (in later part of dream) Wolverine or Wolverine-like form. I think it means that I should cut down on my time spent playing Marvel The Avengers Alliance.
There were other dreams as well.

Well, it sounds like a fun dream anyways. :)

worry not. Most days central park is quiet save for the tourists and exercise freaks. What central park also is is GIGANTIC (for a nyc park anyway), and muggers and murderers have miles of unused space to hide/lay in wait within. It is fairly well patrolled for a city park as a result.

You know, I always did think that coffee-shop owner in Friends looked like there was something more to him than you could see on the surface.

Preach it. Also, if my passport image is anything to go by, it makes me look like a member of the Russian Mafija.
I should get a new hat.
New hats are almost always a good idea. :)

Also, unless a very well respected journalist failed to do his due diligence, its water can be turned off by the turn of a single tap.

Oh, there WAS an old guy standing on a monument in his boxer-briefs holding his arms out to the world and sporting what appeared to be an erection (but might have been something stuffed in the boxer-briefs to look that way).
So it wasn't entirely idyllic...

we did feel safe in Central Park,
it was great to walk into it from the loud and hot city streets to cool down and relax.we spent some hours of every day of our NY visit in the park, relaxing or passing through on our way to museums.
It is very beautiful, well maintained and clean compared to some other parks I have seen in various places of the world
edit:
except for the snapping turtles
