I'm skipping out on the Avengers midnight release to go to a punk show tomorrow night. I think I just lost a large amount of geek points. but it is my only day off for three weeks.Punk points > Geek points. The movie will be there the next day. The punk show won't.

Holy shit. Mysterious Cities of Gold is on Netflix. This was a "bridge" anime series for me, I saw it on Nickleodeon when it was very new on cable- it let me know that things were still coming from Japan, and renewed my interest in investigating what happened to Robotech waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the 90s.

It's one of the things I really love about the second job. DJ that don't suck on 80's night, like it was last night. Flock of Seagulls was a-blasting, as was Safety Dance and some Thomas Dolby.
Finished reading that new Stephen King book last night. Good book. Reminds me of why I used to love King's work.

Speaking of Paizocon, my younger brother urged me to create a Pathfinder Society character and get into some of the PFS games. I did create a character, but I'm not sure I'll get in on one of those games. Just have to wait and see, I suppose.
I tried PFS, I just couldn't get into it. I'm bad at pickup games and one-shots.

I think it would be awesome if Moorluck actually fount giant insects for a living. Like those exterminator commercials, when they come up to the front door and try to talk their way into the house. Moorluck just strolls in wearing armor and spear and shield when the insect tries to talk their way in, and an epic fight breaks out.
