I am of course referring to this game.

I finally merged together both campaigns.

EDIT - Though I may have forgotten to merge with my pants.

You're slacking, old man!

(Says the man who already knows he's several years older than TL...)

I'm going to be slower for a while, now. Anniversary incoming... ;p

Classic mistake in decking.

New young couple in the neighborhood "Oh the deck is in, time to get some furniture, crack open a beer and pat ourselves on the back"

Captain Yesterday (thinking to himself) " aren't you going to put a finish on that..."

Oh, gods. Now that it's summer break I'm working on house projects, and the first is "put the screws back into the Trex deck". (We had to remove them because Nefret is terrified of our house cleaner and hides under the deck. Being on a lead, she creates... interesting... knots under there.)

What I am quickly learning is that "Trex is crap".
We had the deck put in in 2008, using Trex instead of redwood because it supposedly lasts 20 years and doesn't degrade. It's only 8 years later, and the entire deck is covered with orange powder and every board is disintegrating. The stuff is Crap. With a capital 'C'.
So yeah, we need to re-install the deck within the next year or two because the 'guaranteed not to degrade' Trex is... degrading. And guess what? We're going to use a REASONABLE material... like... REAL redwood.

I appreciate the idea of synthetic materials for your deck and lawn and so forth, but when 8 years in the sun turns your deck into a mushy, powdery mess, it's time to say, "Yeah, your technology is crap, Trex."

You don't merge with clothes. Have you considered what it's like having denim skin. Nobody thinks about the pain of breaking it in.

I should be at the store right now, grocery shopping. :-)

I'm working on it. :-)

Tomorrow is my live game.

We're up to 7 players.

I somehow manage to have them reigned in with 6. (We're losing two players in about a month, so we are replacing them before they leave - only reason I agreed to GM for this many).

Apparently I am a good GM, just the last two groups of people I GM'd live for were the kind of players where reigning them in is like herding cats.

Bitten by a radioactive pair of Daisy Dukes? Sounds like a The Tick hero or villain.

Pea Bear (to the General): Can I watch Office Space, it's been forever since I've seen it.

The General: Sure go ahead, it's... wait!... you've seen it already..

Pea Bear: Oh sure, you wouldn't believe what dad let's me watch when you're at work.

The General: Oh, really...

Captain Yesterday (putting on shoes, f%$& the socks): I sure would like to talk about that, but the dog won't walk himself!

It is. :-)

You haven't lived until you've reached into a cow's stomach. :-)

I thought it was the other end that was the bees knees.

Holy crap... I'm currently embroiled in guild politics for a game that isn't even launching for another 15 months.

Life is strange.

There is a game that let you set up guilds before launch?

So, yeah, I see articles like this one, and then I check my local weather report, and see that we'll barely break 70 this week.

Ah, the Bay Area. Home of the world's best built-in air conditioner!

Meanwhile just over a hill, I am looking at 80's and 90's. The Bay Area: Don't like the weather? Drive 20 minutes

My bus stops at the Golden Gate Bridge on the way to work, and today the fog is so think it's completely invisible from any angle, regardless of how close you get. It's like there's no bridge at all. Just a solid wall of greyish-white.

Guess that tells you how the weather is in this part of the Bay Area right now.

Yeah, called Chronicles of Elyria.

Watching house hunters because that's about the amount of mental energy I have. The dude is a serious jerk. There's always one. I don't think I've ever seen an episode of this show where both members of a couple are nice people.

I've got the attention span of a rabbit on meth and even I'm tired of the repetitions. We get it already. The rooms are small. The couple doesn't agree on anything. All three options look eerily similar. Oh, what will they choose?

Hmm. I think I might have run out of attention span even for house hunters. Time to go to bed. :)

I'm off my phone, so now I can elaborate. He kept thinking he was going to replace the general manager and run the store so much better, and a general manager position opened up in the worst location in the region in a "we need somebody NOW and are asking every general manager if they can spare their assistant general manager" manner. General manager put his name out there, so now he's going to get to prove how awesome at running a store he is. Except his primary skill is being a condescending jerk and nobody wants to do things for him, so he's going to be a horrible general manager, and the district manager is going to ride him like a horse in response, and it's not actually going to help, and the district manager is a jerk, too. Also, jerkface knows this is a horrible location with a horrible commute and a laundry list of problems, but if he turns down a general manager spot when it's desperately needed, he'll not get another offer any time soon, so he had to take it even though he doesn't want to run that place. This is the second manager I've seen the store chew up and spit out for being a jerk, and it's just as entertaining.

I do feel sorry for my fellow retail grunts, though. This is going to suck for them.

An ugly approach from fighting games and card games that has migrated into tabletop games.

The song lyrics I feel encapsulate the feelings of every child during summer break.

Tiny T-Rex insists on wearing his clothes on backwards. If anyone points out that they're on backwards, he says "I know, that's how they're supposed to be on" and then smiles.
