For the record, unlike above, we were not nekkid. I don't think the women of NY could have handled all of that.

Although it is pretty cool I get to wear my birthday suit in my first FAWTL post in a couple of months...

The color profile on my computer isn't 100% on target, so I tried to set it to where it was supposed to be. Only, for some reason, Windows 7 doesn't like that. I changed the display settings, and restarted the computer, and it had reverted back to defaults. Then, I manually changed the color profile and saved it, but when I restarted, it had erased all the changes I had saved, and reverted to defaults. I repeated the process, and then deleted the default profile from my hard drive, but when I restarted, not only was the color profile not the one I had saved, but the default had resurrected itself and switched itself on. There's got to be a better way than to manually calibrate the color on my monitor every time I switch the f$+$ing computer on. Anyone know anything about this?
I know windows 7 does this A LOT. Like every time I use the computer at the second job it goes on and on about how it happily restored the previous settings. No idea how to fix it, unfortunately.

Switch to Linux. Did wonders for me.

Manhattan didn't implode when FHDM and I were together, I think it'll be ok. ;-)

The sky was colored funny though...Almost as if we put too much ozone in the air...

It's okay. I know whenever I go to Manhattan nekkid, I bring kneepads and condoms with me, just in case.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk!! Slightly more Happy Wednesday! Took off work early yesterday, a little after 1000. That wads after I called the doctor's office and told them I caught something in their waiting room in Monday. They kindly called me in prescription.

So, I sat on the sofa at home most of yesterday, watching movies On Demand. I watched Cabin in the Woods for the first time - excellent flick. Also watched Lockout with Guy Pearce - dude makes convincing action hero, even if the flick was basically a rehashed Escape from.... in space.

Feeling much better today. Antibiotics are wonderful.

Now if only I could get my work computer back. It's been over a week now, and there are projects falling behind.

I'm starting to feel terribly vexed.

Scarab Sages

AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Scarab Sages

Aaaahhh, I needed that.

Watched the pilot of Revolution last night. Interesting, but in my opinion there's no way that young girl playing the lead can carry the show. To me she came across as too much the whiny, teenaged brat.

My favorite characters were Captain Neville, and the dad Ben (whom they killed).

Scarab Sages

And, with that, I shall depart for a time. Have a good day everyone!

I'm going back to bed.

Stupid cold.

Thanks for the supportive comments yesterday, folks. The power was out at my house for a while last night (tornadoes and severe thunderstorms, yay), so I didn't have a chance to respond 'til now.

It's been a while and I figured I should get in while there's still a few hours of Talk Like a Pirate Day left over here... :)

I didn't think we'd see you back so soon. Good to see you posting!

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Liberty's Edge

I'm not back, just too much of a coward to go ahead and do what needs to be done. Probably next week, still trying to get a few "official" type people to write the judge before I have to go in.

Silver Crusade

:(

In that case, I'm sorry to hear that.

It started to rain... The weather was so beuatiful yesterday :(

Good luck with whatever comes HD.

I hope everything goes well and then you'll be done and finished with all that crap. :(

I find your grammar horrendous and you accent simply abominable. Just because one is a seafaring scoundrel does not mean that social niceties can be completely ignored.

Lass, if'n that's botherin' ye already, yer in for a mighty huge headache.

I just fail to understand your inability to observe basic social and conversational conventions. There is nothing intrinsic to entering into a cooperatice compact with other individuals for a criminal enterprise on the open seas that should cripple one's ability to use proper diction and grammar.
