There's a grammatical error here. You've combined country music and awesome, in the same sentence. This should never, ever happen.

Not true.

Spoiler:
Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, CDB... need I go on?

Hey! Another treant? Did you know I can speak three languages?

I was a highwayman, along the coach roads I did ride,
With sword and pistol by my side.
Many a young maid lost her baubles to my trade.
Many a soldier shed his lifeblood on my blade.
The bastards hung me in the spring of twenty-five:
But I am still alive.

I was a sailor, I was born upon the tide.
And with the sea I did abide.
I sailed a schooner round the Horn to Mexico.
I went aloft and furled the mainsail in a blow.
And when the yards broke off, they said that I got killed:
But I am living still.

I was a dam builder across the river deep and wide;
Where steel and water did collide.
A place called Boulder on the wild Colorado,
I slipped and fell into the wet concrete below.
They buried me in that great tomb that knows no sound:
But I am still around.
I'll always be around,.
And around and around and around and around.

I fly a starship across the Universe divide.
And when I reach the other side,
I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can.
Perhaps I may become a highwayman again.
Or I may simply be a single drop of rain;
But I will remain.
And I'll be back again,

And again and again and again and again

I was looking through a list of Ancient Roman names last night and realized that JK Rowling thinks a spell should translate as "Experant Yokel". Just one more reason why I can't stand those books/movies.

That one and American Remains are my favorite Highwaymen songs. It's very saddening to think that half of them are gone.

Machine Gun Fellatio
Unsent Letter

I try to talk to you
Can't get past the weather
The friend I thought I knew
Has found somethin', somewhere better
So I'm hanging on your line
Thought we could speak together
Tell me what it is with you, you seem gone forever

I'm spendin' all my time driven round thinkin' clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said we're not together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

I know what could've been. Try not to think about it
Found it hard to live wi' this, and long to live without it
But my dreams have caught me out, I found my self surrounded
By the odds of our own end enough said about it

I'm spendin' all my time driven round thinkin' clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said we're not together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

I've given up some thing, I guess that doesn't matter
I've started other things, I guess that doesn't matter
But I finally wrote your song, another unsent letter
In a pile addressed to you, care of somethin', somewhere better

I'm spendin·all my time driven round thinkin·clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said we're not together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

I'm spendin·all my time driving round fakin' clever
With a girl who seems all right and another one who's better
I don't know if I lied when I said that I'm together
But I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone forever
Yeah, but I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone forever
Yeah, but I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone forever
Yeah, but I try to talk to you, some how you seem gone

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING FAWLTIES!!!!

It's KINGMAKER SATURDAY!!! To be followed by DARKLIGHT SISTERHOOD SUNDAY!!!!

I'm super excited not only because these are the first games of the year, but because Maggie(our new Magnavox TV our friends pooled money together to get us for X-mas) has a super special hidden talent- SHE CAN PLAY IMAGES OFF OF A USB DRIVE! After YEARS of straining to share the little monitor screen my netbook has, I'm FINALLY able to set the mood by choosing the appropriate picture and putting it up as a background! The only thing that's off today is that I FINALLY found out what I wanted to do in terms of background music for my games- not full soundtracks, but background noise that suits a setting: dripping water and echoing footsteps for a cavern, birdsong and insect noises for a forest, etc- but I my little mini speakers just died after years of faithful service. Here's hoping everyone can hear the little tiny speakers my netbook has....

You're welcome, I keep them there for my own use and that of others. :) Most of them are usually found linked to on forums. I want to say I was browsing the WotC forums when I was linked to that one. It could easily have been BG or the Den however.

Cleaning my bsmt, to get the home office in order - UGH. Finding Dragon #102 and #103 - 1987 FAWESOME. Must read the Gygax article on gaming style, and the Future of AD&D article.

I learned this truth at 15. A kitten wandered into my back yard full of dogs. I ran up, grabbed it, saved it, and it immediately repaid my kindness by flensing my hand and wrist with a thousand needles.

It was the day I learned what the phrase "no good deed will go unpunished" truly meant.

Still working on my Kingmaker tweaks. Since Solnes has to have elves in game I decided to go more Celtic/Nordic with their look.
