fawtl now has an export!

I thought we already had some. Or are awesomeness and snark not considered valid exports?

Edit: Also, we occasionally export nekkidity.

Sounds like a perfectly splendid Sunday.

Have a fun trip! Post pictures! :)

*pants heavily*

Stupid heat. Is it autumn soon?

Germany v Iceland. Good game so far.

Also a match-ups you'd never see in a men's football tournament, so that's another bonus.

Actually think the Icelandic part of the crowd has made most nice so far, despite being severely outnumbered.

Portland OR or Portland ME?

Oregon. Maine doesn't have much in the way of an economy.

Back from Pathfinder session. Group decided to randomly wander the monster-occupied part of the city and murder-hobo a few monsters. First they ambushed a group of orcs resting in desacrated shrine and later they threw themselves upon a group of hill giants, ettin and troll accompanied by cleric of bane, orc shaman and strange red-skinned, heat-projecting, full-plate-wearing orc fighter.

There were some few close calls but the party survived thanks to the opponents bad tactics (majority of opponents had Intelligence 6-8), using higher ground (roof of a building) by ranger and warlock, extensive use of lay on hands by paladin and me forgetting to deals 1d6 bonus fire damage with each of the orc fighter's attacks...

Ranger player brought tablet and used dice rolling application instead of using actual dice. Worked ok. He even scored a critical hit on a bow shot... But rolled 1 on damage roll. Still, the crit was enough to finish ettin.

There's 2 Portland's? o_O

Those are United States. I would not be surprised if there were even more of them...

True, especially with the British TV Series Portland Bill. But they're 2 quite large US cities. Saying that there are 2 "Kansas City"'s one is Kansas the other in Missouri right across the river.

Hee hee, and the larger Kansas City is in Missouri.

Honestly, they might as well be the same city.

It is all one large metropolitan area, actually. It's just that the majority of the population live in Missouri.

Fixed.

Hate driving through downtown so much.

More of an addendum, really. :P

I remember living in Wichita when I was younger and the big summer family trip was going to Worlds of Fun.

My wife and I finished watching Sharknado a few minutes ago. For me, it fell into the "so bad, it's good" category.

I tried using my tablet for my dice rolling, and most of the people at the table seemed uneasy with that. I like using an app for hidden GM rolls, but I use real dice for everything else.

Birthday (14th day) was pleasant despite slight nausea caused by meds.

Oh yeah, I've had kind of a busy week so I haven't been around. What I missed?

Mantis Shrimps and Pistol Shrimps are pretty awesome.

I wonder why nobody ever planned to stat giant versions for D&D?

I use my phone to roll now. Found a great ap that does all the math for me and allows me to save rolls. I plan to work my way through the bestiary and save all monsters. Already have a few npcs saved.

Quiet morning.

*sniff* I am so proud of them. I was a player in betatests of its first incarnation a few years ago (which was planned to use d20 Modern) and its current incarnation.

I picked that up. I haven't read all the way through, but I I liked what I saw.

I'll have to check it out when I get home. I can't see it from work.

+1 to BDay wishes for Icy. =)

Someone mentioned Dire Giant Mantis Shrimp in the Cosmo thread. I asked for stats. No response. I need those for if I ever run an underwater campaign. (Possible future hint to the Badger if he ever needs a monster idea in a rush ;) )

That said, not sticking around long. Lots to do today.

It's been on the list for a while. I will do something for it soon.

Happy birthday, Icy.

Other than that I'm apparently all out of things to say.

Icy, didn't I.wish you a happy birthday earlier? If not then happy birthday!

I'm not sure if you did, but thank you.

That goes to all you! You're all awesome!! ;D

Reuters headline: "Man arrested for photographing John Kerry's house."
