It's poison is quite deadly.
I respect spiders for their vermin-killing ways, but I do not like them at all. So, it's easy for me to write up spider monsters.

Yeah, that was to offset the fact that it does very little hit point damage. Plus most adventurers will have a way to counter the poison by the time they encounter one.
I think that in Self-Destruct ability instead of using term poisoned, I'd wrote "exposed to poison" but that's because I associate term poisoned with already failing initial saving throw against poison. Not that it is official - as far as I could quickly check term poisoned is not used in the poison rules in a specific meaning.
Or even better "exposed as if bitten".

Warm water usually helps me when I have a headache.
My headaches are very prone to any bending, tilting or other forms of head movement which would be required to wash my hair.

So long as it's clear we aren't all monsters. And you're welcome for the vermin thing. And the mad wizard, lycanthropic druid, and swindling snake-oil alchemist, too, while I'm at it.

That would pose a problem, then.

I really like that construct I will need to use that in my campaign. I love spiders, but my newphew is not a fan. He is 16 now so I like to throw some spiders creatures at him every now and again. This one seems like a great little nasty.
And the headache is slowly growing. Meh, if first pill didn't help another probably won't make things better now.
Migraine?
My best advice would be to get away from the computer for a while, staring at the screen can accelerate those kinds of reactions.
Ok, trying to wash my hair. Either I'll get worse or not.

The wife doesn't even have respect for them. She just loathes them all-around. And so, of course, I may have to lure her close to the computer screen later at home so I can show her the picture accomanying your article.

Potions of neutralize poison. Alchemical antivenoms and anti-acids.
Lots of rope, preferably silk. Grappling hooks. Pitons and other climbing gear.
Trap-detecting/springing gear. Marbles make good impromptu items for just about anything.
Handy haversack. Must-have.
Easily-portable, readily-available, and difficult-to-douse light source. Preferably hands-free.
Slashing weapon that can pass as a machete - scimitar or kukri works best IMO.
A long stick (to check for mud pits/quicksand/ambush predators).

Alternative to the light source: goggles of darkvision. Or potions of it if you can't afford a permanent item.

Happened to me last summer. Registration was one day overdue, and it was the middle of August.On the s&#* side: I got back to my car where it was parked at the commuter train station and it had a ticket on it for an expired registration. Apparently it expired 4/13/13. WTF? I never knew a motor vehicle registration could expire mid-month. The date is in tiny print, as opposed to the big across the sticker which led me to believe I had until the end of the month.
F!$@ers. Must have been a low-crime day to go from car to car checking inspections and registrations to find one that was 11 days overdue. (I assume they were checking both; my inspection is current.)
I suspect I can get the fine waived if I show up in court with evidence that I renewed my registration (which I did promptly this evening online), but what a waste of a day to have to go to court for that s+$#. Court date is June 5. Grrrrr.
Did you show up in court to fight it, or just pay it? I'm wondering whether it will be worth it.
We don't have a Cold Stone here, I think =( Haven't been to one since I left Arizona.

This beastie is awesome, taig. It's in the running for my favorite. It's the type of foe PCs would dread facing, and I could see using it in all kinds of ways.

I already asked her out once. She declined saying she already planned to hang out with friends.
And we've chatted like normal after that for the most part. I haven't had the guts to ask her phone number yet, but now I feel like I'm just being messed with. Either she can't take a damned hint (unlikely) or she's just not wanting to say no to my face. Of course, the third option is what you are saying and that her thoughts are an unfathomable system not too far from a Lovecraftian horror.
Whatever, I'm kind of frustrated but that's fixed by me going more cynical so I won't be as disappointed next time this kind of crap happens.
Because really, the less you expect from other people, the less likely it is that they will disappoint you. I'll probably die alone, but I sure as hell plan to die happy!
I'd ask her outright at that point. It didn't go well when I tried, but at least, eventually, I found out for sure.
