My job is really getting to me. It's not that it's getting worse; it's that it's not getting better and I am getting to a point where I can't take it anymore. I always try to take pride in anything I do, and it really bothers me that I know I my clients are getting substandard service from me because there are 300 of them and I have about 90 to 120 minutes per day to address their issues.

Actually this notion that men are somehow more simple baffles me. Going back and forth between social circles that are made up of girls and ones made up of guys I find that both sets have complicated social rules that somehow you're supposed to learn by observation which isn't always so easy and that whichever set of rules you know seems simple and the set you don't know seems mysterious and complicated. And for those of us caught in the middle both sides are maddening.

I was just filling out an online form, and the dropdown box for 'Title' that usually contains Mr./Miss/Ms/Mrs./Dr./etc. also contained options for 'The Honourable', and 'Dame'.

It took an act of great will to resist representing myself to this organization as 'The Honorable $MYREALNAME'.

(I know that's a title that has a specific meaning, and I wouldn't *actually* do it, but it was so tempting, because it's not a normal option.)

I'm thankful that I can, but the only annoyance is that the same size shirt isn't necessarily the same size. I now wear XL (when I used to have 4XL) and some are made roomily and then some are what I would describe as 'hipster slim'. Ixnay on the latter.

In agreement about shoes. I wear 13, but I hardly have an arch. Most tennis shoes tend to have them built in. And I prefer a cushioned sole.

I don't know about guys' clothing, but Old Navy is great for women's clothing. Wait for a sale, and it's relatively cheap. You can get good clothes for casual to business casual, the sizes tend to run just a bit generous. I was so excited to be able to fit into their normal sizes. At ON I can now wear a Large or XLarge, depending on the cut. Occasionally I actually have to go with a medium, even! You do, unfortunately, have to try stuff on because of hte size variances. And shoes are my bane. Size 10-11 wide width Dutch feet - not easy to fit. >.<
