We all know you dragons have a huge hoard. Or failing that you could sell your hide to armourers to make Armour with. Dragonhide Armour is the ultimate fashion statement!

Holy crap. I'm sorry, Vany. I'm really glad that it's not something more serious, but the frustration of "let it run its course" when you feel that awful is hard to bear.
Hugs to Aiymi.
*Points at this post for his feelings on your situation Vany*
I'll throw in a hug for the rest of the family too though, if its alright.

Then he has another interview for a rival school in the afternoon.

I wonder what Nuallia will say before she's hanged? I bet Mr. Jacobs never considered the possibility that she'd be taken alive.
I saw this yesterday and I thought it an interest thought John. But as it was late and I was heading to bed, I didn't really respond.
Kind of have a couple of ideas on stuff like it...but they are rather morbid.Furthermore much would depend on the interactions/relationship between Nuallia and the group who captured her. Has any rapport been build between them? is their relationship most antagonistic or is it more sympathetic? Is Nuallia having regrets or does she revel in the misery she's wrought? Does she face her execution with defiance or acceptance? that sort of thing(s).
But as I said initially, its an interesting thought, and its something I often try to put some thought into or at least make a couple of notes about when making my own villain npc's.

Nualia is the Book 1 end boss so the party be kicking her door down to give her the boot!
Book as written her only regret would be not being able to sacrifice the PCs to Lamasthu, but depending on how the group is slanted, had I been running, I might make her amenable to getting redeemed.
ROW I did tweak the mod some, since the party wanted to walk the high road. Whenever the vilians had any redeeming factors, I amplified them, so there were a number of people walking free.

How do you guys even stay in shape ><
One thing bad about Arizona is that it's like over 90 F there and as a result my brother sat in the house watching world cup. Of course he's getting fat ><
Mostly we don't.
Well, winter is good for outdoor activities; Camelback Mountain has a good long trail on it. And even during the height of summer there are crazy Phoenixians who run it every day. But most of us stay inside, which leaves gyms if you've got the $$$ to drop on membership, pools if there's one in your neighborhood, or whatever you can do in the comfort of your own home.
We have an old elliptical in our living room we got via Craigslist, and I use it...not as much as I should. At least I get some walking in when I inspect the solar arrays at work.

Tequila made me remember something from this morning...
I took today off to run errands for Aiymi and just generally be around for whatever she needs today. Went to the grocery store and a guy stocking the shelves decides to strike up a conversation with me. He was about done with his shift, but he didn't want to go home because he would have to mow the yard, and it's just too hot out for that. He caps it off with "I just moved here from Arizona. I can sit in 130 degree heat all day long, but what I have encountered here is just stupid. I just don't know how you people have learned to breathe water."

Pulled over in ohio by state police. Supposedly doing 85 in a 70. B*&%~~@$.
On the Ohio police:
I have the utmost respect for police officers, but... Yeah... This is a problem in Ohio.I have heard, and cannot confirm that they receive a quota of tickets to hand out every month... Which is why, especially at the end of the month you need to watch your speed very carefully when traversing Ohio. They also watch the roads pretty strictly during holidays.
The quota thing isn't the officers fault, and I have seen a ton of people get off with just a warning at the beginning of the month.

Well, the relationship was definitely antagonistic, since she was trying to skewer several party members with that big-ass sword of hers. Nuallia might have had regrets before taking Lamashtu's Mark, and taking the first steps to becoming some sort of half-fiend. As for the execution, we don't know yet. The fight was finished just before the end of the session. The entire fight, including a single Yeth Hound, lasted three or four rounds.

Yeah, I don't use our treadmill. I probably should. But I was never that great at self-motivating to exercise.
We did a gym membership for awhile, but after Cyz didn't see any results for the effort, we canned it. It was a good social thing with our couple friends, but not worth the investment. We just hang out on anime night now.

The quota thing isn't the officers fault, and I have seen a ton of people get off with just a warning at the beginning of the month.
The whole "quota" thing is very fascinating to me: Police insist that no such thing exists, because it is both illegal and immoral, and turns law enforcement into profiteering. Yet it is such a persistent and pernicious rumor that you wonder whether there is a kernel of truth to it.
Certainly there are "speed traps", towns along major highways that intentionally set their speed limits to well below anything considered 'safe and reasonable' and then instructing their officers to strictly enforce those limits, but I'm still on the fence as to whether or not quotas exist. A nice little article here points out that police officers have successfully sued police departments for illegal quotas, but from that I infer that quotas, if they exist, are at least rare enough that we don't see a whole raft of police-instigated lawsuits. There's another interesting article here. But again, it's, "They're illegal, but we have evidence that some jurisdictions have used them anyway."
But from other Googling, it definitely varies by state. I'd love to hear from an officer in a "quota" area, but I don't think FaWtL has any police on the roll call, does it?

We are on vacation in the Catskills. Did an insane rock scramble yesterday that I never would have attempted prior to this year. It was great.
Went horseback riding today, which is also something I haven’t done in 15+ years.

That's funny, as monsoon season has come early this year. It is 95F (35C) today, and humid. Not gills-requiring soggy, but humid enough to remind me of high summer in upstate NY.

Kind of do the same.
If the party seem to lean toward nurturing acceptance, I usually play up the redemptive qualities more, though not exclusively. And if the party's more about retributive vengeance is vice-versa, with the antagonistic qualities played up.Well, the relationship was definitely antagonistic, since she was trying to skewer several party members with that big-ass sword of hers. Oh yes. I’m not generally afraid of heights, but standing on a rocky precipice and looking down a 150-foot cliff is enough to make even this winged angel a bit queasy.

Hi, Kjel. How are you today? Feeling better?
Okay-ish.
Had a tiring, but at least somewhat satisfying day at work.Had to put every not-on-a-training-schedule horse through the thread-mill (2 times 20min for each) + massage + hoof cleaning routine, so I spend most of the day inside.
After that I spend a little time outside, having to mend/replace a length of hose(s), carrying water to the pens out side.
Discovered some poisonous plants (for horses) in one pen, which I pulled up.
Then my work day was pretty much over.
When for a swim this afternoon/evening.
Did a bit of cleaning.
I think that pretty much it...
*scratches beard*
But yea feeling mostly okay. Still have a bit of mark on my foot, but the pains mostly gone away.
My hike: The labyrinth
*Looks at cliffs*
Yea, that a nope! at least for climbing!
How about you? feeling/doing okay?
The surroundings are still looking gorgeous though, could see myself doing some forrest-hiking/camping there.

So, the kids finished Detroit: Being Human today.
On the one hand, it was an awesome story. Very deep, with an amazing insight into the nature of humanity. On the other hand, the game "play" was virtually nonexistent; you were just choosing from a set of available responses, and very occasionally playing a few button-mashing games. So I'd call it more of an "interactive book" than a "game".
And I'm afraid $60 for an "interactive book", even one that takes 20-30 hours to finish, is a bit steep.

Same.
Somewhere, there is a photo of me standing on a dramatic jut of stone and nothing for hundreds of feet below. To this day, I still don't know what posessed me to leave the hiking trail to do this. I mean it wasn't part of the trail at all -- I had to do some Indiana Jones stunting to get there.

Actually the secret to losing weight is cutting the carbs you have in your diet. Like to a quarter or do without if you have to. And no sweet stuff(ice creams, cakes, chocolates) as well as more running/swimming. I used to be a fat furball, before my aunt looked at that huge bowl of rice I was consuming and flatly told me I was eating too much.
So yep I try to stay off carbs.

That's the sort of thing that gets people killed. My brother worked at Yellow Stone Park before, each year a couple of park visitors fall off the cliff and die because they "wanted to get better shots"

I can breathe water? It's 83% humidity now and 82 F and I'm comfortable.
