Couldn't make it downstate to visit my family on Thanksgiving due to work, so a few of them were going to visit me today in Syracuse. Got a call last night saying they were going to bail because they were too tired from Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I don't even know why I bother getting my hopes up.

You can find them every so often in areas that have large German-American populations. I think my mother brought me to one somewhere when I was I kid, probably either in Wisconsin or Pennsylvania.

It has been proven that absinthe not just causes people to reconnect, it also brings about long periods of downtime!Ugh. Still moving. Plus it's cold. Plus I'm working a lot of hours at the moment.

While listening to In Extremo. It's been long-long since I listened to them.
I have seen them live in the 90s on a local mediveal market (ren fair) playing for coins and söling self-made cd's and then again 5 years ago on a big festival at hockenheim ring with third billing, only Die Toten Hosen and Metallica played after them

Two more weeks at the camp, and then I can go home for December.
I don't know if I should be disappointed with my writing speed, or content with it.
