Strolling in to my weekly meeting nekkid is a great way to get arrested.

I am somewhat disturbed by how awake and alert I am despite only getting about five hours of sleep, interrupted by my computer deciding "Yay it's time to reboot for updates!" at 3.30 AM.

Scarab Sages

I love being asleep. Sometimes, I even do it at my de......Zzzzzzzz

Scarab Sages

Hmmmm, I put in some travel orders yesterday just before I left work. I haven't seen a notification saying something was wrong with them and I need to correct it.

I refuse to believe I got it right on the first try!

Scarab Sages

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!! WHERE IS IT?!?!?

They took it and locked it away. Some secret base in the side of a mountain, most likely. They'll be coming for you soon as well. Or maybe for me...

What was that? Did you hear something?

Readjust your tinfoil hat and watch out for ear infiltrators. They're everywhere.

Aberzombie, the kittens took it and hid it away. They are after you! They want to cause chaos, confusion, and disorder.

Mew?

*blink*

Ugh. Feeling like a right bastard after two hours sleep. I'm outta here.

I shall celebrate my moment of triumph with geeks, booth babes, booze, and d20's in Indy.

I hope you get to enjoy those booth babes - i heard some negative claptrap about how they were terrible for the industry and should go away or something. Forget Forget where it was.

I remember something like that being mentioned in the "Tropes vs Women in Video Games" thread.

More for me, then.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

The National Enquirer posted photos of Candidate X's dog 'attached' to the leg of a Secret Service agent. Candidate Y was quick to point out that any decent candidate would avoid owning a poodle. Thankfully, the Hide Thread function saved most Paizonians from seeing the graphic pictures, or even knowing about the incident. In other news, there is a breaking story out of Indianapolis about unconfirmed sightings of some sort of man-badger. Witnesses describe the creature as extremely hairy and aggressively amorous about something he calls 'minis'. It may be just another Ron Jeremy sighting. We're unsure at this time if 'minis' are some sort of new designer drug, as it seems that there are a number of others claiming some sort of addiction to these 'minis'.

Just be glad you're not living in a swing state.

The down side of losing weight - I lost another daily point. *sigh* Less that 12 points per meal now.

I don't have any television channels, 93.3 KGSR is pretty good at just being music, banner ads don't even give me pause, and I generally stay home as much as possible. When we do go out, I'm too busy watching other drivers to really notice billboards.

Sounds like you have it mostly handled. There's always a thing or two that'll slip through the cracks, but you're probably good.

Also I envy you on your radio options. I only really listen to two stations here, Rock 105.5 and Classic Rock KZ-106.5. The former leans pretty heavy left, the latter about the same distance right, and what isn't rambling about NASCAR or sports between music is generally politics.

The Exchange

We never get politics on the radio. I mean other than the talk stations. If it is a rock or country station they just play music or have obnoxious DJs. I think I can live with that.

I'm lucky that I'm in range of Austin. :) One oasis in the sea of Texas.

Really, I just need to stop following political posts on Facebook and I'd be fine. But it's just so fun to needle people!

Yeah Talk stations are a given.

I was a social studies major in Des Moines.

Good God, caucus year was painful as the only one of my social group that supported neither candidate...

People who excessively spew politics on Facebook get hidden. If I happen to agree with them, I might give a slightly longer leash, but if it's obnoxious, they will still get hidden.

Yeah, I've had to unsubscribe to a couple of people's news feed. Obnoxious is obnoxious, and I have no time for it.

I just hate that you can't have a reasoned discussion about things. I feel there is much misunderstanding and if we all take a step back most of us are looking for the same things we are just taking different paths to reach it. [/psuedo-political-religious rant]

I actually find news about supposed teacher molestation more annoying than politics on radio stations if listening to see if trafic is bad.
