nekkid rampaging llama! Awww....someone shaved the poor thing.

Scarab Sages

Kinky.

Scarab Sages

Little known fact: My sister-in-law's younger sister is deathly afraid of llamas. Once, when they were driving from New Orleans to visit my brother and sis-in-law in Houston, they stopped at the side of the road where some llamas were being kept in a field. She couldn't even get out of the car.

I gotta say, though, if you're going to be really afraid of something, a llama is a really cool choice.

Scarab Sages

I mean, I look at them, and would never think they were very dangerous. But, you never know........

Still, you know it's going to be a good day when you get to use the phrase "rampaging llama".

Mmmmmm....more coffee.

Why is it that the moment any kind of precipitation falls from the sky, people suddenly lose what little driving skill they had? Seriously... it's a little damp and drizzly outside, and I saw at least two accidents (minor fender-benders, thank $DEITY) and several near misses on the half hour drive from home to work.

Aberzombie: Llamas, like camels, spit-- also, they have a wicked kick. On they other had, they're awfully cute, and their coats make lovely yarn. I keep trying to get my mother to raise llamas or alpacas on the farm-- she has goats, so it wouldn't be a huge stretch, but so far I've had no luck. :P

Well, Steve's trip to the new Farmer's Market ended in tragedy when he had to help put down a rampaging llama. Meanwhile, Max decided to invite Patrick into his new business venture - a store catering to fetishists who only wanted to be b~!$% slapped in the face. Meanwhile, Mike and Jess were suprised to learn their old nemesis Cosmo was in fact.......No, wait! That's my soap opera.

I knew how it would end and still read that as your's space opera. I blame Cosmo for that.

Guh. PbPs updated, work finished, daughter changed and powdered. Time to rustle up a bit of food before her physical therapist comes. At least that is still covered (for now)

Zombeh, have you ever thought of doing your crypt of Illusions as a PbP? I'd love to take another crack at it.

Simple math. Most people + things falling from sky + vehicle = moron.

I'd give it a shot.

I ne er did PBP ( wrong time zone and all that)

but I would totally be on board for that

Nice thing about PbP is that time zones don't really matter. As long as you can post X times a week (I usually go for two minimum, but with my current PbP and my players' many RL busyness-es I'm settling for one) most GMs are still pretty okay with it.

Weird, some threads don't seem to be allowing me to post...

Important information regarding llamas.

Okay all caught up on the crazy threads. Should get to work. And close my blinds, it's getting sunny.

Where do you LIVE?!?

Also, lol @ $DEITY.

Also, I had a *VERY* strange dream last night starring you, Moorluck and Solnes. Apparently we were all hanging out and then SOMETHING happened. I don't remember what it was. Then the dream shifted to some strange romantic comedy movie party where everyone was hooking up(in the PG sense, nothing erotic, it was also at this point in the dream that you three COMPLETELY disappeared), and I had to fix the soda fountain for some reason. We all watched some horror film while I was fixing it, and I got frustrated and had to give up on it...Although most of it was still working.

I don't know what the source of this dream was. I ate a huge dinner(Falafel pita with eggplant, hummus, and LOTS of veggies, sweet potato fries and an arnold palmer), but that was HOURS before I went to bed. And I ate that dinner because Trader Joe's DIDN'T have the two boxes of wine I needed to replace my table wine boxes....

It was so strange...

I'd been trying to talk him into making it a Clockwork Gnome product.

A PbP would be lots of fun.

Hidden for brief religious musing:
Yeah... I don't feel comfortable using 'God', because most people in this country assume 'Christian God', which is emphatically not part of my belief system. $DEITY works nicely in text, but not so well in spoken conversation. :) Still haven't really found a graceful substitute to use in spoken interactions.

Ayup. That's an odd dream. So, who'd I hook up with, in this dream of yours? I'm curious. :)

I have Aussies, Brits, and Americans all playing in my PbP. I agree that time zones are not an issue in that format.

Fortunately (or not?) I am neither young nor a lady. ;P

But Yes, the kids did have school this morning. (YAY!)

Morning all, 1/2 way through my first cuppa caffeine.
Did I miss anything besides Zombie's usual ramblings?

Hmmm,... ZOmbie's soap opera,... but it's actual title is,...?

I just had an idea that is completely formed from awesomeness. If I ever get around to PaizoCon again, I can dress each day in costume, as one of my aliases.

Frank the Mime would be hilarious.

And I think I'd like to try that, but it might be awhile longer before I can get around to it. It's been crazy insane since I got back from PaizoCon. Wife's been working long hours, leaving me to handle the boy. I also have been tinkering with a possible Sidetrek submittal for that Wayfinder thing. Plus there was this crazy guy who asked me to do some maps for him....

Anyway, my wife's schedule finally seems to be going back to normal, just in time for me to go to San Diego for 2 weeks. Maybe when I get back, I can organize the whole thing and get it sent off.

It's not difficult by any means =)

Basically it's the same as a live game, just slowed down and done through text. Which with your busy-sounding schedule is probably a plus.

You'll probably want to get a Photobucket account or something similar to host images, maps, etc. if you don't already have one, for the party to keep track of locations in combat and such. But otherwise it's all just written description and interaction rather than spoken. Dice rolls are handled by the forum's dice code so that part's simplified. People just create aliases of their characters to post from, and that's that.

See if your SO will let you get away with calling the new kitten something fiendish. Asmodeus, Mephistopheles, Dispater, Geryon, etc. etc. etc.

I vote Crowley!

Actually yeah, disregard all of my prior posts, definitely Crowley.

I will borrow my Mom's camera sometime this week to take pictures of all the brood.

Orthos, we are not sure if the brat is a boy or a girl yet. It is too young. Even now, both Karen and myself are wondering what happened to the kitten's mother. It is too young to be left alone. But that is a good idea for some names. ~grins~

My vote is still for snowball. After all, this cat issue has snowballed out of control. One of my friend's recommended Mischief.
