Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk. Happy Monday? Well, let's just wait and see how the day turns out. So far it's been crap - the boy woke up at 3 am and gave us trouble the rest of the morning. Ugh.

Yeah, this is cool. I'll bet the House of Mouse is salivating. I look forward to seeing this stuff published in English.

And I hope Bill Willingham is paying attention and will use some of this for Fables.

Scarab Sages

Nasty weather today. Wet and cold.

Scarab Sages

But at least traffic isn't bad......

......never mind.

Her opening attack took my poor wizard cohort to 5hp! But that's OK, after invising and running like the scared little b!*$# that he was, he drank a healing potion and dropped a Greater Dispel Magic on her ass! And of course, I intimidated her, which is ALWAYS fun. :D

Scarab Sages

Back in the heady days of 2E, my characters never had much luck against dragons. I recall one elf fighter/wizard who go slagged by a black dragon and reincarnated as a troll.

Scarab Sages

Almost at the office. Have a good day!

*blink*

Ugh rainy Monday. We need the water , but no bike riding today

I guess it'll be a good time to catch up on the gaming homework I have. GMing is fun, but I need an app to build mE some messed up class-leveled triPle templated monstrosities like I always seem to need

So, Mascatto gives me strrrraaaange dreams. :S My boss died a horrible Jason Vorhees style death in a catacomb like hotel under the local
Lowes' grocery while listening to country music! :/

1st thing, seriously not OK w/ the Friday the 13th style dream, gives me the creeps, 2nd... catacomb like hotel?? Under a grocery??, and 3rd...my boss HATES country music, why was he listening to it?! :P

Morning!! Had fun babysitting last night with the wife... Neighborhood kids came over to help and eat all our food. There was one moment where my wife and I looked at each other as all the kids were eating at the table and we shared a moment. We may be starting a family of our own soon.

Finals week. Panic mode: ON.

I should probably stop by a store and stock up on Mountain Dew Code Red. Because just coffee isn't enough right now. Also, why does my brain not want to remember anything now? I have so much crap to memorize. :/

Being cute or surviving to be adults? :P

Had to go to the store to buy new pants for the kidlet yesterday. Naturally, he was not a fan. He hates trying on clothes. But at least now we can get through a whole week without my having to do laundry in the middle. If he'd just stop growing so much...:)

Since he was a (mostly) good sport about it, I bought him some pop rocks as a reward. He'd never had them before and now thinks they are the best candy EVAR!

@Jess,

Not for lack of trying though. That Great Wurm Black Dragon was tough. The only way we took her out was the casters casting Dispel Magic on her to remove her buffs. I mean my charge attack missed with a 48 attack roll? Holy Shnit!

Well, Jess' professed despair at missing the chance to inflict fatal wounds on her friends prompted several co-workers to become concerned for their safety. Meanwhile, during a booze-fueld rampage, Derek lost control and severely beat a Confucius impersonator performing a one-man show in the park. And, across town, an attempt to start a cult dedicated to a local douchebag backfired when.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Liberty's Edge

Should I go sign up for the Avacyn Restored pre-release?

This is one of those things-- I don't want to waste my Friday night, but it's from midnight to 4 AM, and I have to get up at 9 AM to drive a friend to his comic book release, and then I have work at 5 PM.

This is probably the only Friday I'll get off this month. Is it worth it?

slow day

almost time for bed on m y end of the globe

I am developing a deep loathing for the unit circle all over again. So many formulas to memorize, so little brain left to memorize them with.

Silver Crusade

This is one of those "Are you kidding me?" kind of days. People at work need to figure out solutions to problems without making mountains out of molehills.

How did the game go guys?

I crushed me some clockwork zombies but the Crimson Masque got bagged by one and we beat a hasty retreat. Now we are going to need to figure out a better means of getting at ole Count Orlov and his nasties as I expect he will be less surprised someone is coming at him now. And seeing how we left a wake of destruction in our path I doubt we will be able to use the same spot we headed across the trenches as we used before. Strategy has not been the Mad Badger's strong suit, more of a smash first ask questions later.

Favorite Scene in the Game session: the time where there was the squad of clockwork zombies coming down the tunnel and the Badger is smashing into them while the Crimson Masque is looking over papers and maps as though he had all the time in the world.

Also, is it naptime yet?

Need pork.

Feel your pain. Had to memorize it for extra credit last week on my first mid-term. Just need to remember the first quadrant and then repeat for II, III, and IV but keeping mindful where the + and - falls according to the X & Y axes.

Dear Urizen,
It doesn't matter how many pieces of PIE you put a scoop of ice cream on, I am NOT looking at that thread.

*facepalm* English Jesper, English!

Ahem. It's exactly like basil. :)

Not that there's anything wrong with basil, but when I have pesto I prefer a bit more pine-nut than this mix had.
