So other than random dream musings, how goes things?

Well, lesse. My daughter Julia had a meltdown and decided to swich her living arrangements. Fortunately she is now an adult and not living with us, so the impact is minimal. She had promised to repay me some money when I see her tomorrow, we'll see how that goes.

My job has gotten better with the hiring of some new help. I am basically the defacto manager of the store. I am also going to have a bit of vacation time sometime soon. I wish I could make it to Myrtle Beach, but the logistics with my other daughter Ally is just too much.

My wife works hard, but is doing well at her job. I fully expect her to climb the rungs of management deftly. She has a gift for people management: Generous with those who work hard, ruthless with the slackers. And she enjoys firing people. =D

I just had a random $200 drop in my lap yesterday (thanks karma!) from an old profit-sharing plan from my former job. I didn't even know I was entitled to anything, so it is a pleasant surprise.

How goes the Moore household?

See y'all on FB.

Sorry you've been having to mess with that. :(

See you soon.

It's all good. Just needed a breather. Ready to sow more hate and discontent as needed...

All in all it's been okay-ish. Bad week for me, Thursday was the 15th anniversary of Dads death, and I get onery round then. However, Solnes getting the job brought some much needed relief.

My condolences. The top of the month was (would have been) my mom's 84th birthday. She's been gone for 11 years now, but I miss her still. I am glad that Solnes wont have to put up with the shenanigans her old place was prone to any longer.

That's awesome! I don't recall being able to get any RPG stuff at the Norfolk NEX. But that was early 90's.

I think its time for Remicus to begin thinking about the next phase of his life. May I suggest Master Craftsman as a feat? I will allow you to swap some skill points into a craft or profession skill if you need to meet the feat prerequisites.

Is this the thread where I talk about how much I love my wife and how awesome she is and everything? Because I think it is now.

Went out to a nifty little sushi place in Ballard last night, one year to the day after we wandered into a great teppanyaki place in Waikiki. That time, we were a little dazed and a lot in love because we'd just been married a few hours before. This time we were a little dazed and a lot in love, because, well, you know. The awesome and all that.

She's asleep right now and I'm going to let her sleep in as long as she wants. Maybe I can sneak down to the gym and get some exercise in before she awakes—I need to get into shape before Teter tot arrives!

We coined a new phrase the other day, and I think this is an appropriate place to introduce it to the world. :-D

Just popping momentarily. Have to make sure the house is clean enough for a little guy. My wife agreed to babysit over night. I have not been around a 5 month old in years. I hope to be able to sleep through the night. We shall see. Our friend though really does need to be able to get out some though, so I do not mind.

"Fawsome." I love it. Though I'll probably type it as "fawesome" due to muscle memory. And seeing it spelled that way reminds me of "f'awesome", which would be a contraction of "f&%!ing awesome". Which of course is probably why I love that coinage in the first place!

Hmm... maybe Gunsmithing. Followed, of course, by Exotic Weapon Proficiency (firearms).

Get as much sleep as you can now.

It won't help at all, whatsoever, but......just do it because you can.

Congrats on the Anniversary! Also, do you want anything for the Teter Tot while I'm in Japan? Samurai Sword?

Well, Gary and Sara were celebrating there anniversary, unaware that their old nemesis, Dr. Dolots, was planning to release a de-furring toxin onto their cats. Meanwhile, everyone thought Scott was crazy when he claimed to have seen several ninja battling atop a building during his business trip to Japan. And, across town, several mysterious deaths where being blamed on.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

In very short order there will no longer be such a thing as a soap opera.

There's rumors of a new online network that may stream new episodes of soap operas.

I suspect Coronation Street is safe for the time being - and there's always Game of Thrones. ;)

You haven't been around much lately. How are things?

I have some ideas on my Ravenloft campaign that I might bounce off you, if that's okay. I was stuck on some story points but I've had an epiphany.

Also, good luck in advance on your interview!

Things are going well. I've been doing a bit of writing, a bit of procrastinating, and some taking care of my daughter.

That's cool. I'd like to hear your Ravenloft ideas.

And thanks!

I think if I remember correctly that on American TV, what is generally known as a Soap Opera, will be down to just two programs. what next week? An online web streaming program might be an interesting way to do it. Never been much for the program type. Like most game shows and reality TV I just do not see the point.

Although Netflix has every episode of Dark Shadows, most of which can be watched streaming.

Sara and I just played a rousing game of Qwirkle. This is the first time we played and the entire time I thought she was winning. Turns out, we tied exactly 196 to 196. So even board games designed for ages six and up think we're perfectly matched!
