I like the cut of that shield maidens jib!
Knew someone like that back in my dorm-days. You could hear her, when she had "visitors" in just about every other room in the dorm-hall.
When we meet her in the common kitchen, someone usually would ask her if she had been "feeding the lioness, during the night" ^^'
A Smart and Sweet young woman though, could probably have gone for a shield maid if given the proper attire and equipment.
Must say, I a bit partial to loud, tumultuous and vigorous love too...though there most definitely a place for cuddling/snuggling too.
*looks at the sniffling drake, and hands him a large mug of tea and honey, a large glass of juice and final a nice a smallish glass of Rum*

I still haven't fired up Hearthstone. Guess I'm out of the habit.
Me neither. Played for a while, then began to find the monetization model and gaming cycle frustrating. All in all I deemed it to little reward for time invested.
Also me and Blizzard...lets just say I'm critical of a few things. If I was to being playing virtual card games again I would probably try out Gwent ^^'

Kjeldorn was the one squealing like a girl, why don't you ask HIM to explain?
Though I could...he just saw a beverage that he liked.
And sorry Kjeldorn, I'm not really a fan of bubblegum.

We're leaving my Mom's house today after breakfast and we won't be back until Christmas, which means that Val and Hermione will be emotional and throwing tantrums over nothing all day.
*Offers LM a hug*
Wish I could help somehow, but I fear I don't neither your kids or the rest of your family well enough to give sage advice.
I can only say that giving them the room to rage might be good for them. Though it can be hard to spot, there might be some grains of true emotions an feeling hidden in the tantrums, so space and keeping a single ear open to them might be the best course of action.
Then again, from what I've seen here on the forums, I'd probably much rather defer to your judgement LM. You seem to be a much better mother, then I would make a father.

I have to admit, the ads for dating sites that feature beautiful young women always bemuse me, because my first thought is, "If a woman that attractive can't get a steady date, there's gotta be some serious psychological baggage under that pretty exterior."
I think it also says something that every Final Fantasy database site has nothing but dating ads...

I caught some low-quality sleep. Low-quality even at me, which is saying.
The bad: when I get the cough spasm, it is deeply painful though nothing really worrying, simply the tissue within back of my mouth around the way further down is terribly sensitive, and coughing or swallowing sends needles of pain.
The good: I don't cough most of the time.
The annoying: because swallowing is painful, the best short term option is to not swallow for extended time... Except that seems to dry the sore tissue even more, so when I have to swallow (I don't know 'bout you, but I have to swallow every know and then) its might be a tad more painful than the regular swallowing.
Ok, end of complaint.
For now.

Almost sounds like a case of strep throat...
If you have a slight fever and "pus channels" developing in the back your your mouth, that might be it then.*Plys drake with more Rum to disinfect his throat*

Yeah, that might be strep throat, though I am not sure if I had any fever or not - it's so damn hot (reminder, the red color is misleading, I am autumn dragon) that I feel overheated all the time. Especially that I have even greater problems sleeping than usually when I don't have some cover on my shoulders and my head.

First off: Yes LM you deserve a piece of pie ^^
Secondly: Would never call you a bad mother! You might be a grouch, but that's nowhere near the same ballpark.
Thirdly: Must honestly say rhubarb isn't my cup of tea. It used pretty extensively up here north, for desserts, jams and porridges. Might be why I'm not really that into it...
Gran can get the strawberries, not really my thing either.
*Pats Drejk on his scaly back*
Yup the heats been unbearable these last couple of week. I think the average is around 30-32 degrees up here.
Maybe a blindfold could help you sleep?
I hope you get to the bottom of your ailment, we can't have you sputtering and coughing through this summer.

This morning's moral quandary:
Whether to dig into the last slice-and-a-half of my mother's phenomenal rhubarb pie.
It's sitting here on the kitchen counter in a Tupperware pie keeper and it is KILLING me.
But she has promised to make waffles this morning with hot apple-rhubarb compote.
looks up from empty pie plate, face smeared with pie remains
Mora-wha?

(I have a thing about rhubarb.)
WITHOUT ANY DAMNED STRAWBERRIES MUCKING IT UP TO MAKE IT SWEETER THAN IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE AND HIDE THE FLAVOR.
RHUBARB DESERVES TO BE RHUBARB ALL BY ITS DELICIOUS, TART LONESOME.
I will see about adding rhubarb something to your housewarming package.
