The valet manager, who did nothing more than tell me where to stop and call a valet and a bellhop for me, got $10 and looked like he was going to crumple it up and throw it on the ground.
I've been told that bell hops get $1 per bag, but when I gave him $10 for 8 bags he looked at me like I'd spat on his grandmother's grave.

Know what $10 is better than? NOTHING! Which is rapidly becoming what I feel like tipping...

a dollar a bag? Thats a bit dated.

She loves it! Think I might get her Undertale.

Undertale is fun. My AP runs have quite some Undertale influence.

Shattering bottles with a bladed weapon, eating mixed grill, sure. Melon puncher and man who fell over, how?

If you commit atrocities in my APs, yes.

Yes I am aware that makes me unable to run Way of the Wicked, Hell's Vengeance, and even Skull and Shackles.

At the pediatric er doing the hurry up and wait routine. Kidlet wasn’t feeling well so we went to urgent care and they sent us over here. Now we’re waiting for tests. Probably a head ct. Or an mri. They hadn’t made up their mind yet.
Edit: kidlet was collapsing and slurring his speech and complaining of blurred vision, so they want to check for any potential serious problems. Not exactly the fun weekend we had planned.

He’s not! He’s adult sized. He’s way taller than me!

The pediatric side of the er is way nicer than the adult side. And they have been super nice to him, which has helped with the anxiety. Kidlet gets very nervous at doctors office. So at least that’s positive.

Aren't his symptoms similar to what you suffer from time to time? Could it be the same balance/inner ear issues that you have? Or would it manifest earlier?

Give the young man my best wishes, lynora. I hope all turns out well. Love to you and yours!!

*Offers hug to both Lyn and Kidlet*

I hope it turns out to be some kind of (relatively) benign case of over-exertion, maybe a glitch in the kids brain-wiring, Lyn. In other words a scare, nothing serious.
The kid's got it rough enough already.

No, not really. The dizziness is similar, but I don’t lose muscle control or have vision and speech problems.

Have another one of those headaches. ;_; It's excruciating. I just took an Aleeve, which probably won't work. I don't understand why I have to suffer like this. ;_;

They decided on mri. So now we have to wait much long time to get the scan. The kidlet freaked out about getting an iv, but is calmer now.

The Exchange

Uh oh. Could it be a stroke? Sorry to hear that, it sounds bad. I'd freak about IVs too.

They don’t think it’s a stroke, but they don’t know yet what it is. So now we wait for the results of the mri and hope that it tells us what is actually going on.

The Exchange

How long will the results of the MRI take?

Who knows. Hospitals are not known for speed. But it’s super late here so that’s actually speeding things up because there aren’t as many other patients coming in. So here’s hoping that we don’t have to wait much longer.

Nice jokes tonight, gran! I needed the laugh. :)

Thanks, Lynora. I hope that the hospital can figure out what's going on with your son quickly.

John, I hope that your headache goes away soon.

Well the mri came back normal, so that’s amazingly good news! There is still some concern that it might have been mini seizures, but the more likely explanation is basalar (sp?) migraine, which is much nastier than his normal migraines and can come with weird symptoms. So looks like we are going to get a referral to a neurologist and sent home since the kidlet is much improved.

I either need sleep now or a whole pot of coffee ....so I can sleep now...
