Got Mommy and Baby Charlie out the house today. Hit Wendys for lunch, then went to Lowes for some stuff I need to clean a bit of mold out the attic. Then, just for s*#&s and giggles, went over to Barnes and Noble - got two new books! First was an apparently new novel by Richard Matheson called Other Kingdoms. Second was the latest in the Ballantine series of REH collections Sword Woman and other Historical Adventures.

I am off from the second job tonight, as I worked the Black Party yesterday. I don't think I've ever worked there on a Friday before, it was more subdued than the Saturday.

It's damn good to see you, that's for sure. I do wish I had better news to report though- it seems my wife's aunt isn't doing very well. Her husband(her uncle) isn't dealing with this very well either, and so he is telling people the worst case scenario of things, which doesn't jive with what we've heard so far- the last we heard she wasn't perfect, but she was responding to people and just about breathing on her own. So everyone is confused and frightened, hoping for the best and slowly preparing for the worst. Her sister is going to see her aunt tomorrow, we all have a bit more faith in her interpretation of events than his at this point. It's not because he's incompetent or anything, it's just that he's terrified for his wife.

Yeah, I heard about that from a friend of mine that works in construction- you really do need the right tool for the job when it comes to work in the kitchen.
