Nekkid digging through the garage!

Well, the boy bribed me. He told me he'd buy me a box of minis if I went and took his car to get inspected for him. I told him I didn't think Borders would have any minis left. (This was my way of telling him that one box of minis was not a sufficient bribe, when I'd rather watch his mom tear him a new one. He didn't seem to "get it," though.) I went, and they didn't, which spared me from having to tell him the price was now two boxes. But they had a Bestiary 2. HAH! He stays out of trouble with his mom and I finally get my copy of the B2.

Haha, I wish it was that easy to get out of trouble with my mom!

I want to move out of Iowa in just over a year from now. My question is should I look for a job in a related field for the short term or just get, lets say a short term solution like fast food or retail? Any opinions, life experiences, world domination plans? If the latter looking for good manual labor give me a call :D

Good. She didn't search the garage too hard before she left, did she? ;-)

Nope. ;-)

Went back one more time to pick up a pair of LoF APs at 30% off.

Dumb question: why does he need you to take his car to get it inspected when he could easily just do that himself and spare the issue of even having to compensate you? I'm missing something.

There are times you make him sound like a nuisance versus a stepson. ;-)

I think the greater issue is to ask yourself why you're leaving Iowa?

It seems like such a dumb question, doesn't it? But he wanted to go to the St. Patrick's day parade AND stay out of trouble. So he resorted to bribery. At first it seemed a nuisance, but I was pleased to get a B2 out of his lack of responsibility.

Too much corn? He gave it a try, but discovered he was not contrary?

He ate his fill of all the food he brought himself?

But how does this involve you getting his car inspected? That's what I fail to fathom.

I've heard that Spanky has world domination plans involving 20 pepperoni pizzas, 16 midgets, a half-dozen hookers, and a contract drawn up by Sebastian.

As long as I can have all the free beer, Popeyes, and pretzels I want, I'll go with you. Also, could you throw in a castle?

I remember minis, months and months ago. I remember maps too. Oh well.

Among other things, he had to get it done today or be in deep crap with his mom.

Yeah, this is one reason the bribe worked on me. I have to play it pretty close...again...given certain economic developments. At least for the next few months. I fear it might include the summer, and if it does, then it will automatically stretch into the fall. It's lovely how these things snowball.

Got home from picking up son #2 from the airport and what did I find on my front porch?

Spoiler:

You need to get Lilith a case of Tiger Blood. Then she could teleport to you and hand deliver the package.

Edit: I was going to suggest Cosmo, but Cosmo + Sheen signals the end times.

Its wonderful timing also, since it was son #2 who got me started on RPGs. So he gets a chance to look through it during his break.

Don't give up hope. That's what mine said also and it still arrived via USPS today. So yes, I was quite surprised when I saw it on the porch.

Keep going back and forth between whether I should make that a rogue 2 or 3 given the comment SP made about Arcane Trickster. Fiddying with some feats, and ultimately it's the shopping list that takes time. Given the scrutiny I've seen you give the others, I want to make sure I know where I got my math from once it's presented. Once I'm done, I'll dump it from word into the profile.

Again, I'm being anal largely so I make sure I understand the rules. (Besides, most errors I've found have been in your favor...)

Mine apparently left the warehouse on 7 March, got to a USPS center in Philly on 9 March, and has yet to arrive.

I wonder if the incompetence of the post office/UPS varies by region.....

I'm tired of Iowa. The scenery sucks. I want a change, besides there is nothing much here for me. I've been planning on leaving the state for some time now.
