Good morning!

Im not sure if I posted this earlier, but I we got new computers at work(main job) on Friday. I have been asking for this for years and have been met with every flavor of resistance on every level, but they are finally here after at least 5 years. Everything is windows 8 tiles now. I can open my mail without having to go to the bathroom for a quick bio break and come back to outlook *just* opening up. I can have more than one freaking window open! HUZZAH!!!!!

Nekkid celebrations!

Aren't gas station much more expensive when it comes to food that anywhere else?
In my neighborhood, not necessarily. I live in a bit of a food desert, and prices at the local supermarket have shot through the roof in the last two years. For example, a dozen eggs costs $2.50 at Mobil Food Mart, but I'd have to pay $4.00 if I bought them at the Tops right down the road. And I'd have to empty my bank account to afford vegetables that didn't come in a can.

Uh... It seems that price of the eggs in Poland is nearly the same as in USA (assuming it didn't go up when I was away)? With wages being three or four times lower? At least we can easily afford fresh vegetables...

This is the second time I was in this judge's jury pool. Not surprisingly, he is a big advocate of people serving their duty on jury's.

He told us that trial by jury is one thing that separates us from the rest of the world and that this right is threatened by public apathy.

It is debatable if it is good, bad, or mixed thing... But that is topic for a debate in separate thread because we don't want to mix in politics here.

I went for a bit of a walk yesterday.

It's a place called Ryrbäcksparken, in a ravine leading down to Göta Älv (Sweden's biggest river - although you'd not believe it based on the tributary I was walking along).

The photos aren't that good - my camera had trouble dealing with full 12 o'clock daylight coupled with dense foliage overhead.

But this photo of the entrance to the place came out okayish.

Mrs Rumnaheim and I finally have started watching Game of Thrones. We have raced our way from the beginning through the first episode of Season 3 in about 4 days. Time to take a break and get other things done.

Purchased Hero Lab with the pathfinder rules today, I'm liking it, keeps me from making clumsy math errors when creating higher level npcs.

Duh. Why four hours of sitting in front of computer from getting up to getting to work pass so fast, while the exactly the same amount of time at work goes so slowly?

Time to wash, dress, and go to work. *sigh*

Good morning every-FaWtL. :) Hope everyone is well today and has a good one ahead of them. It was sunny when I logged on this morning, but it apparently turned cloudy while my back was turned. Ah well, no harm.

We are getting some much needed moisture here in Colorado.

Yeah, it's cool. I'm trying to decide which data packets to buy first as the weeks go on and I refresh my small pool of disposable income.

About 13 years ago, a little while after we lost our Siamese cat, Blue, my wife and I went to the animal shelter and picked out two cats. We took our (at the time) young children to the shelter to see the cats, and they ended up choosing two entirely different cats, and those two cats went home with us instead, of course. One of the cats, Wolfie, was a gentle and loving kitty, and she had a pretty good life with us I think.

Today we had to put her to sleep because of congestive heart failure.

Goodbye, Wolfie. May your travels take you someplace sunny and warm.

It's Tuesday. Worse yet, it's shaping up to be one of THOSE Tuesdays. I have too much homework to finish to be able to escape the house and avoid the drama.

Here's to holding tempers, holding tongues, and speaking calmly when needed.

Sad thing is, I might have actually been able to get on. Was abusing parents' hotel room for wifi, but I'd left my headphones at the apartment. Should be good for KM tho!

Relatively! I'm really hoping I can stay with this district a while so I don't have to move again. I can even delay getting a pet indefinitely to avoid moving again.

Supposedly, the Hero Lab folks are pretty close to pushing out the iPad update that will allow character creation directly on the device itself...at which point, my productivity levels for anything not involving creating pathfinder characters is going to drop drastically

between this and the Hearthstone Naxxramas content I may just wear my iPad like a welding faceshield for the next couple of months

+1. Losing a fuzzy is like losing a part of the family (although the fuzzies usually argue a lot less than the two-leggers). I'm glad you were able to adopt her and provide such a wonderful loving home for so many years. I hope your sadness quickly gives way to memories of those happier times, and I hope survivor cat isn't too depressed.
