Dude, I live in New York State. If I tried that, I would be filling out paperwork for the next 20 years before I could actually start the business, and after that, I would be taxed into oblivion.

You know what the answer is, right?

Move to Texas! :-D

Y'all know my stances on politics and religion. I'd get eaten alive in Texas.

There is always Austin.

Whereabouts in AZ? I lived in Tempe and worked in Scottsdale most of the eight years i was out there, though I did a few short stints of living in Mesa and Chandler.

I have family down in the Valley, but I grew up in Winslow.

Good evening to all my FAWTLY Brethren. I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. The wife and I went over to my older brother's house today with the kid. My younger brother, his wife, and three kids also came. There was much fun had by all.

Poor Charlie, though - he got eaten up by damn skeeters the first 20 minutes we were there. We put some off on him to prevent further attacks, but his poor little legs were covered with bites. Had to give him some children's Benadryl this evening.

But he had a blast with his cousins and wore himself out.

We grilled at Mark's, drank some Laughing Lab and other brews, and got to see the test run on Tim's figure casting.

Pretty awesome day. :)

Moorluck & Solnes best wishes on your move to the Lone Star State. It's looking like FAWTLcon when organized will be in Houston, lol

AZ good to hear you are loving the move and congrats on selling. My wife and I are currently initializing preparations for moving within the next 18 months. Destination to be determined. I am hoping for Upstate NY or perhaps somewhere along Appalachia

Hope all is well folks

There's always Colorado and Texas. ;)

I need a word that would be synonymous with channel, invoke, manifest when related to magic...

Oh, and I'm in the Bronx. I think some kid's going to be upset when he wakes up in the morning to find his glass tank empty.

We're leaving here Thursday, figure we'll stop over night with the kids and Droz, so we'll be there sometime Friday afternoon. :)
Fawesome! I work half-days on Friday, which usually means I'm out of the office by 1030.
I'm off at 1600. Your new place is more or less directly between work and home.

COOL!

sounds like an awesome day.

Yesterday the wife and I were supposed to go food shopping at the coop, but we ended up getting indian food with friends and getting blue marble ice cream (I got a double scoop of ginger and peach, wife got burnt sugar and chocolate with salt on top, other got chocolate chip and chocolate) and we ate our ice cream outside our friends house white watching outdoor set up for the parade today. Wonderful evening, but no groceries.

Harness... Harness vestige (power)... It could fit.

Unleash vestige? Didn't I used that verb as a name of ability before?

Hmmm... maybe adjure or importune vestige would sound right?

Unleash sounds cool.

Ah, the vagaries of teh Intertoobz.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Monday! I think I shall brew some beer later today.

Scarab Sages

Before that, we've got to make our way over to Walmart to pick up school supplies for Charlie. He starts the Mommy's Day Out program with the church tomorrow. Three days a week of less stress and more peace for my wife.....

Weird. Now when I click it I get the same error for a second or two then it redirects me to a Yahoo image search.

Beats me.

What happened?

The owner of this website (www.cirrusimage.com) does not allow hotlinking to that resource (/contents/albumsth/1498.jpg).

After trying it three times, it eventually worked. Bloody cats in the tubes again.

I wonder if introducing a sub-plot concerning the Moaning Diamond into my Kingmaker would be a good idea or a terrible one...

...part of me feels like I should save it for some other campaign, but then I fear that it will never come into play in any of my campaigns.

I'm 2 minutes from being done with my homework and the dog is wailing to get out of her crate. They're not usually even up at this time. Curses!

I approve of this message. There has not been enough done with the evil Elemental Lords.

Because of some inscrutable reason the webpage blocks direct links but when I deleted part of the adress to end at mantids directory I could select specific photos from the list.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of evil Elemental Lords....Hero Lab is fun for creating new-ish servants for them.

Scarab Sages

Also....

Elder Sign: Omens! How you vex me!

Scarab Sages

And speaking of Hero Lab - apparently, they are having problems with people who use Internet Explorer accessing the site to purchase new data packages.

Therefore, I now have Chrome for that.

My grocery store - HEB - offers awesome rotisserie chicken already cut up on breast/wing combos. A pack will comes with three each. Delicious.

I've never tried Firefox. The only reason I went with Chrome was because the tech support person from Hero Lab put it first in the list of suggested alternate browsers.

Scarab Sages

The other day our cable box went out. So they replaced it, but since the technician didn't have an equivalent box, he upgraded us to a better one. It has more DVR capacity.

Scarab Sages

Because DVR is (more often than not these days) the best way to watch shows I like.

Scarab Sages

Despite this failure of our box after only a month or so of use, I am still impressed with AT&T Uverse.

Scarab Sages

Definitely an improvement over Comcast.
