I find myself having to change up a few NPCs and some of the encounters in my Kingmaker game. Partly because some of the players have been through Kingmaker before. The other reason is that certain party members are playing as the "let's just kill it and take its stuff" types. So I figure I'll just replace some of the NPCs that provide role playing encounters with generic monsters for them to fight. Straight up combat is easier to run anyway....

Aww. And I bowed out because I had played it before. Now I'm sad :-(

Will pm you before the end of the day. Still making a low templar ranger. Not sure about race, but he or she won't be of a good alignment. I would like this character to be a burr to the paladin without being a jerk. I have three character concepts in mind to send to you.

because it's not (insert name of your hometown here!).

Obviously, you have not the amazing metropolis of Winslow, AZ to call home.

Just sayin.

The Exchange

Let's just say the best thing about being from Winslow, is being FROM Winslow.

Oh yeah, sent jess door a pm.

I just got word that they have decided to stop chemo on my son in law's Mom. She only has few weeks left, and the treatments were only adding to her misery. She is in hospice now, and the only hope left is to control her pain so she might pass with some kind of peace and dignity. She spent her life helping others as a nurse, and charitable volunteer. She didn't smoke, and she took good care of herself. She never even reached retirement age. My daughter and son in law are having a hell of a time with this, and they have to break this to their kids tomorrow. I have dealt with a great deal of loss so I'm well equipped in this regard, but it's mighty tough to see them have to go through the helplessness, anger and loss. I would appreciate if folks could keep them in your thoughts while they try to come to peace with this.

Take care.

Sometimes the unfairness of life (and death) is tough to take. Hospice is typically well-equipped to help enhance comfort for a peaceful end. My thoughts are with them all.

Bad news, bt. I'm sorry. Cancer is one of the most unfair ailments in the universe. My prayers and sympathies.

Sadly, I'm not sure I'd be able to. I barely have time for the one and a half games I'm in right now.

Thank you for the offer, however.

I long for those halcyon days when I could game for 5 or 6 hours straight, and do so more than twice a month.

Scarab Sages

Short and sweet today. Got stuff to get done. Take it easy.

I changed my mind about making Corax a Tengu.

However, I probably will include a Tengu NPC somewhere.

Also, my new favourite NPC is a Troll minion I made for Hargulka.

Off to work.

At least that way; one (or more) should actually reach book 6. :P

And my thoughts are with your family BT.

I feel like making a tribute to the Dragon God boss of Demons' Souls in my own campaign setting.

Actually, I feel like making more than one reference to the Souls series in my own world for some reason.

Pedwar has the same ratio of vowels to consonants!

Spoiler:
Actually its ratio is worse because cz in Polish is single phoneme, like American 'ch'.
