Clearly, jess door can set the black manliness for the above post to her liking. ..
Took early lunch to go nap out in my car for an hour.
Nap never happened but I feel much better regardless just from laying in the AC and letting my brain turn off.

Man. When I do my round-trip tour of half the country in a few years (after I move out; first to KS to visit Scint, then AZ to visit Ebon and my brother and pick up a bunch of stuff I left out there when I moved, then back home) I might have to make a point of swinging through Houston and saying hello to the gathered FAWTLfolk. Especially since I probably will be going to Texas anyway to visit the family members and friends I have there in San Antonio, San Marcos, and Victoria.
I'll have to work the logistics of that out when the time comes.

Paizo-con is for hanging out, more than being in scenarios. :D
I missed Paizo Purple Punch in 2012. Did they have a good Paizo-con specific cocktail at the new venue for 2013?

To all my Houston Fawtl friends, y'all want to help me unpack on my birthday? Solnes informed me that we will be unpacking on it this year. :DI will be happy to assist! I offered to help the zombeh, but so far he's been so busy, I haven't even seen him yet! Maybe we'll meet when helping to unpack your place!
I'm on the NW side of town too. SWEET.
I am the bad zombeh!!! I do feel crappy about that, but I have indeed been busy. The only FAWTLY I've seen so far is Tordek while over at my brother's house.
Incidentally, Jess. I'm in Spring, right off Kuykendahl Rd, not far from FM 2920. Is that far from you?

That stressful moment when you return from obligatory visit in local employment office and check mail again and see a new mail... Thankfully not the mail saying "sorry, we won't hire you".
Water heater is falling apart - the leak from the fitting is growing. If it will grow worse I will have to keep water valve shut all the time except when I will be pouring water.
Another incoming expense I can't cover...
Finally got my paperwork done for the employment office!
I'll probably have to supply the University with some in the upcoming weeks...
And now, I'm off to make some mischief.
And maybe some engineering decisions.
Both at the same time, maybe?
Slept much better last night.
Still could go for some make-up rest though. Didn't get to actually go to sleep until my usual post-midnight time - attempting to crash an hour early just left me with 45 minutes of uselessly lying in bed until I got back up and chatted with Scint and Faceless until 12:30.
I'm too nocturnal to go to bed early. Unless I'm sick, my brain refuses to shut down before midnight. The only way I can make up for lost sleep is to get an opportunity to sleep in, which won't come before Saturday unfortunately.

Got a new kitchen today! We had been overdue for one, they finally got to our building this year. As the lpm told me this is a year for change!

It's a little ways - about 40 minutes. I'm more west than north - near the intersection of West Little York and Eldridge. We should meet sometime! I've been crazy busy, and this Saturday I'm on call, so I'm stuck at home until about 4 pm.
