24 hours of jess door?

Where do I sign? ;)

hi everyone

Clearly, jess door can set the black manliness for the above post to her liking. ..

Took early lunch to go nap out in my car for an hour.

Nap never happened but I feel much better regardless just from laying in the AC and letting my brain turn off.

Man. When I do my round-trip tour of half the country in a few years (after I move out; first to KS to visit Scint, then AZ to visit Ebon and my brother and pick up a bunch of stuff I left out there when I moved, then back home) I might have to make a point of swinging through Houston and saying hello to the gathered FAWTLfolk. Especially since I probably will be going to Texas anyway to visit the family members and friends I have there in San Antonio, San Marcos, and Victoria.

I'll have to work the logistics of that out when the time comes.

If you are coming to KS you should stop by and say hello.

I always say a turned-off brain is a brain that is ready to be eaten.

I miss the reference. Neverwhere?

Wherabouts are you? Might be a possibility =)

Granted this is at minimum two years out.

Owlcon 2014?

Comicpalooza 2014?
Paizo-con 2014?
Space City Con 2014?

I pretty much always run PFS scenarios at local cons.

Paizo-con is for hanging out, more than being in scenarios. :D

I missed Paizo Purple Punch in 2012. Did they have a good Paizo-con specific cocktail at the new venue for 2013?

Nevermind, read the other response.

Yep. TV (Capaldi) and radio (Cumberbatch).

Also, those links are bloody spoilerific I'm afraid.

And um... nevermind my response to your response, then. ;)

Then shall you nevermind my response to your response because of your other response?

I think I'll play some Nirvana at it.

fanboy ravings I LOVE YOU!

Dai-Kaiju

I have a gun with silver bullets and a stake or two for Kaiju. I am very twitchy around the ones that sparkle.

Like a bridge over troubled water, I will forcechoke you, b&!!&.

I will be happy to assist! I offered to help the zombeh, but so far he's been so busy, I haven't even seen him yet! Maybe we'll meet when helping to unpack your place!

I'm on the NW side of town too. SWEET.

I am the bad zombeh!!! I do feel crappy about that, but I have indeed been busy. The only FAWTLY I've seen so far is Tordek while over at my brother's house.

Incidentally, Jess. I'm in Spring, right off Kuykendahl Rd, not far from FM 2920. Is that far from you?

Why is it that when someone comes up to me and asks to rent a room, and I tell them we are sold out, that they don't believe me? Why would I lie about that? I understand that they're tired and want to go to sleep, but do they think that a room will magically appear out of thin air just because they get upset?

Spoiler:
Okay, I do occasionally lie about being sold out. But only when the people looking to check in give me a bad vibe. Sometimes you can tell that they will cause trouble, and it's easier to just send them on their way, but it's rare that I do this. You really gotta earn it.

RRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Rampages through the thread in search of a large Jaegermeister

P.S. Haven't had a good rampage in a while...

You want to keep all the rooms for yourself, that's why!

For your Harem :P

(That's why the rooms are labelled 'Monday' 'Tuesday'....)

That stressful moment when you return from obligatory visit in local employment office and check mail again and see a new mail... Thankfully not the mail saying "sorry, we won't hire you".

Water heater is falling apart - the leak from the fitting is growing. If it will grow worse I will have to keep water valve shut all the time except when I will be pouring water.

Another incoming expense I can't cover...

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk!! Happy Tuesday!!!

Finally got my paperwork done for the employment office!

I'll probably have to supply the University with some in the upcoming weeks...

Scarab Sages

Had some delicious, from scratch red beans and rice for dinner last night. And my brother came over to eat with us and discuss Kingmaker.

Scarab Sages

But the boy kept being a pain in the ass about going to bed. Although once he was asleep he stayed that way until this morning. No 0300 visits! Huzzah!

This morning when I called he was watching Wreck-it Ralph. Awesome little movie.

And now, I'm off to make some mischief.

And maybe some engineering decisions.

Both at the same time, maybe?

Slept much better last night.

Still could go for some make-up rest though. Didn't get to actually go to sleep until my usual post-midnight time - attempting to crash an hour early just left me with 45 minutes of uselessly lying in bed until I got back up and chatted with Scint and Faceless until 12:30.

I'm too nocturnal to go to bed early. Unless I'm sick, my brain refuses to shut down before midnight. The only way I can make up for lost sleep is to get an opportunity to sleep in, which won't come before Saturday unfortunately.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

Trains were all sorts of backed up today. Grrrr.

Got a new kitchen today! We had been overdue for one, they finally got to our building this year. As the lpm told me this is a year for change!

Silver Crusade

Fawesome! Is it nice?

It's a little ways - about 40 minutes. I'm more west than north - near the intersection of West Little York and Eldridge. We should meet sometime! I've been crazy busy, and this Saturday I'm on call, so I'm stuck at home until about 4 pm.

New kitchen! Woot! Not having to pay for it yourself = even better! :D

Changes, changes, changes. Will they affect me or will I state in the eye of the change again? How knows.
