Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

Easy to remember :)

(Technically, the US, Canada, and a handful of Caribbean nations all share the country code 1.)

That's because Canada is basically the US anyway.

Hey guys, let's play a game! It's called "Try to convince a bunch of high school students to care on the last day before finals!" I think it's the sequel to "DM left the table to get a soda and came back to find PVP both on and off the table" if that helps.

It's impossible. I have no idea why they hold class on that day.

Silver Crusade

My clothes, apparently...

Course when you get right down to it, pizza is pizza. Better some than none, regardless of style =)

Orthos wrote:

Definitely.

I ate pizza maybe twice this year. Too expensive for my capabilities, like anything that isn't my own economic cooking.

And even those I owe to friends who actually bought them and shared with me knowing that I can't chime in.

Dear FAWTL,

It's Friday afternoon, almost time to go home, and I am trying to finish this thing before I go.

That is all.

There is no simple beauty about it. Pizza was meant to have toppings. Anything less is unnatural and an abomination. I will agree, however, that from everything I've heard New York does indeed have the best pizza.

Not that I'd ever find out, since I'll more than likely never set foot within the confines of that place.

DANGIT. I want pizza now.

I got your pizza right here!

Hands Orthos a large New York Pizza with everything, except onions

Good night everyone. Work beckons for me early in the morning.

Nighty-night.

Happy eventide FAWTL.

Another long day, followed by my one night-owl night.

I hope all is well, but now it is off to shake down my PbPs

*blink*

interesting you should say that as I am on Houston as we speak. Sympathetic magic could teleport you here against your will, but that would be mean.

RPG Superstar 2012

But that's pronounced Houston, as opposed to Houston.

hi everyone,

back home

long, winiding post about the last three days adventures will follow later

Welcome back Aeglos!
And Sabine,... ;)

I will agree (with certain chain exceptions) that pizza is better than no pizza. :)
However, while I did enjoy my one piece of New York pizza (I have only been to the big apple once) I prefer for my pizza to be toppings, not thick, barely cooked bread. And I happen to like the crispy thin crust. :)

So, thin crust please, but with so many toppings piled on that you need a thick outer wall to hold them all in! :)

Basically, buffet on a crust! :D

And now off to run a graduation at 8am this morning. (Stupid time for a graduation, but they have to get this one done so they can make the required Grand Ceremony for all grads by 11)

Happy weekend all!

No worries. I've got Bracers of Protection from the City That's Too Full of Itself +5.

:)

Also: good morning my fellow dwellers in FAWTLY Land! I hope everyone has a grand day!

Scarab Sages

My day started out ok. Woke up to Charlie singing and talking to his stuffed animals, which the wife and I listened to for about 10 minutes or so with smiles on our faces.

Once we got up it was time for coffee and bacon. The boy ate about 5 or 6 pieces. I'm so proud.

Scarab Sages

Now, he just polished off some orange slices and is working on a waffle.

Watched Cabin in the Woods last night. I had picked it up on Bluray a few weeks ago. Awesome movie.

I see myself going extremely loony over the next month, as I try to get my entire house packed up and coordinate this move to Texas. With the wife in the middle of morning sickness, she's pretty much useless at the moment.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, time to get some stuff done. Later folks.

And, before I forget, Happy Birthday to our resident Monkey!

Thanks Zombeh! Good luck with moving. That's one of my least-favorite things to do (especially since I own a library =/)

Five pieces of coffee? He'll be walking on the ceiling half the day...

At least I understand that coffee works in this way on most people...

Think of havoc he'll wreak when he'll move to brains...

More loony than usual? That will be an achievement of sorts.

Great... Tomorrow shops will be closed due to some damn holiday... Hadn't anyone told our government that making holiday of any particular religion a state holiday violates Polish constitution. But wait, if it is Catholic it must be compatible with constitution, right? <further rant censored to conform to forum standards>

This has got me craving the Italian-style quattro stagioni pizza. Each quarter has a different topping: mushrooms, artichokes, olives, or prosciutto. Mmmm.

Not what you were describing at all, of course, but my mind makes its own associations.

Now I want to go back to Italy. NY has good pizza. Naples has better pizza. QED.

John let slip that one of his favorite restaurant entrees is beef wellington. I happen to have a recipe, and his birthday is Monday.

Does that make me the best boyfriend in the world, or utterly insane for contemplating this pastry-encased culinary monstrosity?

Kingmaker night tonight! Dunno what the party's going to do. I imagine there will be a lot of Ebon's rogue adapting to her new body and possibly some discussion of the Wyld Hunt, as they're 3 weeks away from Harvest End and All Hallow's Eve.

Also one week away from their kingdom's first anniversary, yaaaaaaay! *Kermit flail*

I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, my 2cp.

And now I've gotten lost in the Muppets part of YouTube.
