(Maybe it wasn't the droid you were looking for...)
Sitting in the PT Cruiser, took a turn, cell phone on car charger slide off my leg and ended taking a drink in my drink.

Good evening FAWTLY Folk! Hope everyone had a good day. It took about 10 minutes to get my new Driver's Liscence. Not bad.
And I stopped at my FLGS/comic book store where I picked up some comics, some minis, and a sweet original Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth!
All-in-all good, especially the Lost Caverns.

I DM the 3.5 version of it as a backup when our DM isn't available, but I don't have an original

Back from session. No one died and shadows had much less impact than I hoped. On the plus side one of the PCs destroyed bag of holding with the loot and bad guys (half umbral dragon fetchling sorcerer and his umbral dragon brother) fell into the depths of the edge of shadow plane and managed to stabilize. So the party see them somewhere in the future eager for revenge. Oh, and the rest of loot beyond the bag were rings worn by the shadowy siblings... So they only gained loot from earlier chest. Muhahahaha.

Flash has two shields and a new spell for you!
I'll have to show that spell to the magus in my party.

Kingmaker's improvised run went surprisingly well (friend's laptop and War of the River Kings PDF saved the day), we just cleared the Rushlight Tournament in one session. The catfolk Ranger took part in all four events, getting first place in the first, second and fourth while pissing off Villamor Koth by outdoing him in the first two without any spells.
When heading back to Numas (the group's country), Chief Sootscale informed that the scouts had seen enemy troops approach.

Mmm. Chicken is in the oven.
Also, I made tiramisu. The consistency is runnier than I think it should be. I hope it is tasty. (Also, it's hard to get used to the idea of raw egg. I know it's in lots of things, but there's a nagging voice in my head that says, "Shouldn't you cook that?")
Raw egg? Try Kogiel-mogiel... Separate yolk from white. Beat white into foam. Ground yolk with sugar (and possibly powdered cocoa or honey, I often used cocoa but never tried with honey) and then add the foam and mix some more. Or leave the whites and use them for something else. Requires experimenting to get proportions that are right to you.
Haven't done one myself for ages as I rarely buy eggs and if I do I make hard-boiled eggs to eat instead. Kogiel-mogiel uses up too much sugar for my current financial capabilities.

OKay..recovering from a straaaaaaaaange weekend. But first, a set of pics that I have been promising myself to post. A gift from my Darklight Sisterhood gaming group in light of the ill luck I have been complaining about with some this year. I screamed like a little girl. LIKE A LITTLE GIRL. I displayed her with pride during the one day of the Sakura Matsuri I went to this year, and one person took a picture. My wife carried her for a bit, and people mobbed her for pics. It was awesome.
I wanted to write a long thank you to my(all female!!!!) Darklight Sisterhood Group, but I gotta go to work. I will gush later, I promise.

So, the road that Charlie's daycare is on runs sort-of parallel to the main road we live off of. But the two are separated for much of their length by a valley and the park (with hiking/running/biking trailer) that runs through it. In order to get through, we cut go west a ways, to a road that cuts through the valley and crosses the hiking trail.
Today that road was closed. I think a tree had fallen across it. So we had to go even further west to another cross over. But instead of backtracking when we left, we just stayed on the daycare road and continued east, so the delay wasn't too bad. In fact, we still got to work a bit earlier than usual for a rainy Monday.
Maybe it was my driving....?
