Time to get some sleep.

Hmmm sleeping nekkid. Guess there is a first time for everything.

Naked sleep is overrated. At least when you sleep alone.

Slow night...

Well, I just got up for nothing.

Best timing ever on the coordinator's part, though. Was just reaching to put my phone on silent for the day when they called to cancel my assignment.

Sooo now I'm told to be on call for whatever comes up.

...Not really sure what to do now.

Though I am wondering why cancel a substitute at the last minute...

Especially since I got called for this one pretty late last night.

Course, they almost never tell why they're gone.

And the students always ask.

Which usually means I spend a good few minutes trying to convince the class their teacher is a secret agent.

It'd be a good cover. They sure wouldn't guess.

And hey, it's not like the teacher would admit it if they were a spy. Cover blown and all.

I think there's just a little part of my brain that realizes teaching could be a lot cooler with artistic license.

Most things could, really.

I don't teach "history;" I teach "dead people."

Necromantic sociology would be the best way to describe a history class.

And people would still sleep through it.

Argh, I really can't do anything with today now.

And a license to kill too... although that might get used a bit too often.

Does time count? I kill time quite often. I'm killing time right now.

The pillow's great for muffling its cries.

Aaaaaaand we're expecting more snow soon.

It was 80 yesterday.

And this is why I argue with my DM about an out of season blizzard being a big deal.

Granted, it'd be nice if we didn't give the weather any more ideas.

I just fail to understand how and why the weather bounces between summer and winter in the same week while completely ignoring the fact that it's spring.

Guess we're skipping that this year!

Or should I say...springing over it.

I did say spring was treacherous upthread.

That's not spring at fault so much as Kansas.

Scarab Sages

Good morning to all my FAWTLY Brethren! It's a beautiful spring day here in Philthadelphia - weather-wise anyway. I find myself increasingly not wanting to be here though.

Scarab Sages

This was the second morning in a row where I came downstairs and had to take a bag of chips away from the boy. He throws a fit, but that just lets me know I'm doing a good job.

I arrived at the determination that Maxwell House brand coffee sucks big hairy goat balls.

That's enough for now. Stuff to do.

As someone who lived in Kansas for entirely too long, I agree with this.

Heh. That was the fastest I've ever hidden a thread. I didn't even want to stick around for the inevitable train wreck.

Yeah. Just from the start, you can tell "Nope, not worth even trying to explain, much less actually answer."

Just gonna go back to my music. Woo, Iron Maiden on the radio =)

Orthos, the thread-killer, has a nice ring to it. Hmmm, brain is tingling for a new barbarian/witch multi-class character. But it will have to be female and a vowel added to the end of the name. I'm thinking Orthosa.
