Man, I guess it's cold in here.

My knowledge of movies is pretty much limited to the handful of things I saw recently, and the stuff I either saw or saw commercials for as a kid.

I has job again.

Mrgh. New computer will have to wait another day. Wife ordered it without a monitor, hoping we could just use the old HP one. Didn't work.

It's all good though. I can swing by Best Buy (or maybe Target) tomorrow and pick up a dell monitor.

dials up black manliness to Samuel L. Jackson levels to deal with particularly nasty cold bugs

I would take it you are feeling a bit better?

And since noone guessed, it was "SaGa Frontier 2" or Final Fantasy Legend 2 in the US. You shrink down to microbe size and fight monsters(germs) in the body of the priestess Ki.

What's inside?

Liberty's Edge

My sleep schedule is so f$##ed right now... Too much NyQuil means missing 3 of 5 classes in two days. Not sure what day of the week it is.

Have you tried ZZZquil?

Have you tried ZZZquil?

Is that a typo?

No, ZzZquil is a real product. Check it out. It's less harsh than Nyquil, and only for sleep. Supposedly non habit forming, but I work in the field of psychology and have been studying meds on a low-grade level for years- I can tell you that's bull depending on your body chemistry and whether or not you have an SA history. But still, check it out. It's sorta kinda not Nyquil.

I could use some ZzzQuil.

Night FAWTL-ies,...

I'll check it out. NyQuil, combined with the sickness it's supposed to alleviate, makes for the kind of alcohol/fever dreams that you're still not sure weren't real even hours after you wake up. I feel like someone slipped me some shrooms when I wasn't looking...

Mine's not even shipped yet... If Seattle weren't so far away I'd be planning a viking raid on the warehouse by now.

Spoiler:
I really want to see that Knight book.

But since I've been a bit too grumbly lately... can I look at what's inside? ;)

Son: Dad, how far is America?

Father: Shut up and keep rowing!

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk. Happy Friday!!!

Scarab Sages

It's always a good day when I know I don't have to come into work the next day.

Scarab Sages

Also, mrgh.

Scarab Sages

Did you ever start the day wanting to smack the piss out of someone with a 2 x 4?

Scarab Sages

Or a hammer?

Scarab Sages

Or an axe?

Scarab Sages

Or a shovel?

Scarab Sages

Maybe a folding metal chair?

Scarab Sages

How about a wooden bat with nails driven through it?

Scarab Sages

But, enough of violence (for now).

Let us talk about a subject of extreme awesomeness.....

Scarab Sages

.....me.

Scarab Sages

listens to the sound of crickets chirping

Scarab Sages

Mmmmmm.......coffee.

Scarab Sages

Also,

Mmmmmm.......paint stripper.

Scarab Sages

I have already decided that if/when the IT douche finally shows up to start fixing my computer, I'm going to pull the old Sanford and Son - clutch my chest and act like it's the big one.

Scarab Sages

Although that might be too subtle a means of getting my point across.

Scarab Sages

F$*&ing douchbags.

Scarab Sages

Not you guys, of course.

Scarab Sages

This is currently (and perhaps ironically) my island of sanity in an ocean of madness.

Scarab Sages

My coworker suggested walking over to the IT guy's office, unplugging his computer, and walking out with it with a promise to bring it back in two or three weeks.

I gotta admit, I'm tempted......

Scarab Sages

Actually, what I should do is go through their entire area and plug a USB device in to the computers of each and every one of them. See how they f!~!ing like it...

Hi - FaWtl Folk! Vacation today! Nothing too exciting except working around the house and a trip to DMV - {{Shudders}} and time to post - not going back to the 1100+ posts I missed - so hope all is well in FaWtl land. If not, hope things turn for the better.

Scarab Sages

At least today is a short day. I should be out of the office by 1330 or so. The I'll go home and get the grass cut.

Scarab Sages

Maybe I'll even cut my hair.

Scarab Sages

Anyway, time to go do stuff.
