So CH, dish!

My god I am awash in hipster. Nothing but unshaven bespectacled dudes with button down shirts and jeans and quirky girls as far as the eye can see. This is purgatory. The only thing that's missing is pork pie hats.

Mmmm...pork pie hats. The most delicious hats around.

Conversation overheard as people walked through my lobby:

Mom: Come on, you know the answer is Warren Harding.

Son (jr. high age): I hate Warren Harding. Warren Harding can suck my balls.

Daughter (probably 4th or 5th grade): I'm not sure if he swung that way. My history book didn't mention Warren Harding sucking any balls.

Were you following me around. That was how I was dressed today. I shaved, I wore a button down nice shirt and wear glasses. No quirky girls anywhere that I could tell though.

Only if it is accompanied by a month old beard and thick black rimmed eyeglasses.

You shaved, it doesn't count.

What if the shirt is a "lumberjack" flannel shirt?

Then it counts double

What if the person wearing the lumberjack shirt is, in fact, a lumberjack? Does it still count double?

No. Then they are just a lumberjack.

And that's ok?

It's less than a month since I heav learned what hipster is.

Fortunately the hipster quotient around here is low, either that or I'm immune. However the Bieber-alike ratio is very high (now we just need the machete ratio to match ;p)

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! Gonna take the boy for a hair cut today, among some other things.

Scarab Sages

Currently watching the boy turn in circles and eat Cheerios while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Scarab Sages

And now he's dancing to the Hot Dog Dance.

Scarab Sages

He's so awesome!

Some of the stuff they show on Disney Channel is just f+~+ing weird.

Scarab Sages

Time for more Mickey Mouse!

Isn't that the point of Kid's TV. To be somewhere for all the creative drug users to conjure idea's so wacky that they would be thrown off an other type of TV. Like 'The Clangers' and 'The Magic Roundabout'

The Exchange

To early to be up on a Saturday.

Mmmmmm coffee.

The Exchange

Getting ready for a charity ride.
texashonorride.org

Gonna be an awesome day for a ride. Good friends, loud pipes, hotrods and badass bikes. All for a damn good cause. What more could you ask for?

Well, besides a backrest. ;)

Late posting this, but we had our first deaths in Rappan Atuk last week. CR5 snake (party still at level 1...) critted the Oracle in a surprise attack and them had the group's fighter for desert.

I've decided to try using the Hero Points rules to give the PCs a little more control over their destinies.

Circles the FaWtL clubhouse once then lands behind the shack at the opposite end of the thread.

Back to a Celtic Metal festival again today \m/ O_O \m/

EDIT: :O after checking my change, someone gave me a 1Euro coin as a £ coin. Noes, now I'll have to pass it back onto the bar.

Damn those hipsters. Now I need to get a new winter wardrobe.

Aberzombie wrote:

Yeah. I think they're trying to appeal to the stoner audience they're losing out on to Cartoon Network.

We...have a shack? What's in the shack?

And/Or soon to be stoner audience. The pre-teen and teen shows that say mom and dad are idiots in every way possible.

And this differs from the shows we used to watch...how, exactly? The overly caring and naive mom and doofus dad are hardly new things on TV.

You gotta see it to know what he's talking about.

Like Icarly;.....these teen girls pretty much live on their own with a big brother who's a f$~+ing idiot. Everybody and anybody who is old enough to vote on this show is either bashit crazy or makes Edith Bunker look like a phd candidate in quantum physics.
One girl who is psycho.....they had a special show where her mom came back from prison. It's just so ludicrous.

And my daughter loves it.

Same as I did when I was her age. Anything to get back at the old people.

hi everyone

homemade pizza in the oven

wooooooohoooooo, pizza!

There's a reason I don't watch TV anymore.

Family outing today. Sister hasn't seen Avengers yet and it's in the dollar theatre.

Nah, it'd get cold (or very, very burnt) before I could be there.

There's no other place for laughs on the internet quite like the commentary thread of a Die Antwoord video on Youtube.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

I think you got a "Mountain Dew" and not a Mountain Dew, aeglos. :S

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

To your credit, it really is difficult to tell the difference in taste.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Sinus infections are no fun. Bluh.
