Nekkid and alone.

Been embracing my girly side and enjoying the reading of some Nora Roberts novels and then indulging in the 'Lifetime" movie renditions. :D

I can't say I'm a fan of the Lifetime movies, but Nora Roberts is definitely a guilty pleasure. :)

I just got done reading the Lost Symbol. Good book.

roommate's girlfriend is already here for the weekend. I don't trust leaving the apartment with only her here for fear of theft. I really don't know her. It's going to be a long weekend. Bad news is that I am not going to the gym today, good news my buddy is in town and he is going to be running the Muay Thai Practice tonight. This is going to be one hell of a workout. then the bars. At least I will be kept occupied during the weekend.

You can try...

Ugh. I have to go fetch the boy soon and my head is still pounding. Do not like driving when I'm sick. :(
Really hope Dan makes it home in time to take Bryce to International Night at school tonight cause I am so not up to it.

They had Midnight Bayou...I could not be blamed.

Anyone here watch the series The Gates? Why the hell did ABC cancel after just one short season? Great show, and now i am all invested with no where to go for more!

She also writes under the pen name JD Robb. I have enjoyed a few of those. All futuristic cop thrillers. Def enjoyable.

I was like that with Roswell. They just kinda cut the story off in the middle. "Really? that's IT? That's where you're going to end the story?"

So I began writing an additional season. :D

Minus the girlfriend sounds like an enjoyable weekend. :D

Yeah, the JD Robb stuff doesn't grab me as much. But I can only handle so much mystery stuff. Long running series usually lose me after the fifth book. I have a few friends who are really into that series though. They have longer attention spans than I do. :)

Dude?! They ended season one with a damned cliff hanger. Could they at least post online somewhere what they had planned for season 2? This is likely to drive me insane.

I love the mystery thrillers. I am currently into the Catherine Coulter FBI series. But none of the local book stores has the last two books I need to complete the series, hence my movement to Nora Roberts.

I like the JD Robb series, but I am reading them out of order.

I did that with Angels and Demons. Brought it to work one night and polished it off.

Angels and Demons was pretty good. Da Vinci Code was good too. Entertaining flicks all around. But, it's Tom Hanks. Even his bad movies are still kinda good.

I am in a really good mood. I think it has to do with starting the car this morning forgetting I had leftthe Rocky Horror soundtrack in. I got to start the day with the Time Warp. :D

In my opinion, for whatever it is worth, the movies are much better, but that has to do with directing and good acting for a horrid story.

An unscrupulous hack, who sets up each chapter to give the answer to the question posed in the previous chapter only to further confuse the issue with another question to be answered in the following chapter. While at the same time not answering the overall mystery posed by the story. This is instead accomplished in a pitiful manner of putting his finger in the nose of the reader and railroading him to an ignorant conclusion based on spurious information applied in the many mind numbingly boring chapters one has to force oneself through to get to the end.

I would rather listen to Simcha Jacobovici who while he comes to many idiotic conclusions is sometimes entertaining in his falsehoods.

Crappy. (I'm a minion, just to clarify here, no licking of boots, that's gross) :)

Sweet potato fries are even mostly healthy. I always make my own though. Just cut up a sweet potato into strips spray it like mad with olive oil cooking spray and bake at 400 or thereabouts for about 20 minutes or however long needed for preferred doneness. Add salt if you like. Is delicious. (But diets still suck)
