So I was feeling pretty rotten about my weight loss today and how slow it has been going. Felt really fat and awful. Then a hideous looking man, in a wheelchair with fatrolls almost over lapping the arms of said wheelchair went by. I guess I'm not that fat in comparison.
I hear the sound of false modesty, Mr. barely can walk straight. :P

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your troubles, Drejk. Hopefully things get better sooner than later.
Occasional headache is something I live all my life. It is not as bad as it was between 7 and 20, generally at least. I had my worst-worst two day incapacitating headache in early spring this year but it was exception, not the rule. Usually it is just annoying pressure/weight on my head with rare needle of pain.

Hellz yeah! Lafayette is one of my favorite characters from that show. Dude's hilarious! My second favorite is Pam. Sometimes, I think it'd be interesting to meet people like themm in real life, just to see how much different (or similar) they are from their characters.

I lived in Tempe and Mesa for a while in the late 1990s. There was a lot that I loved about living there, and I still miss it sometimes. Every now and then I dream about retiring there, though I think I'd prefer Tucson or Sedona for a retirement home.
In other news: Tonight is movie night, which means I'll be able to stop avoiding spoilers for Dark Knight Rises after tonight. :)
How's life in FAWTLville today?

Life? What is this life that you speak of?
~grins~ Well, I am going to put in my 8 hours in today then go home and do some housework, bathe the dog, and then change out the router for a better one.

When I was ready to leave today, the wife was still feeding the boy his first breakfast. Her car was behind mine, so we decided to flip-flop them while His Royal Highness was trapped in his chair.
When the wife came back in, he had removed the straw from his juice box and proceeded to squeeze the contents out all over the floor.
Heh heh heh heh heh........

Well, I tend to be a bit squealy when I really like movies, so I don't know that 'unflinching' is a characteristic you'll find in a review from me, unless I really *didn't* like it. I expect to like DKR-- Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale have done a fine job with the other Batman movies they've done, and I'll take any opportunity to watch Anne Hathaway in black vinyl. :)
Have fun at the con! :) (Someday, I may get over my aversion to cons and go to Origins or GenCon myself.)

I used to work with a guy named Adam who the best way to describe is as a white Lafayette. He was silly but fun to hang out with, if not the most flaming person I have ever met.

We have a use 'em or lose 'em policy, so I'll try to use all of my time.
I'm off work next week, but my wife is wishy washy about heading out of town for a couple/few days. I'd really like to get away. I really NEED to get away. Else, Appropriate Song

Wow. I have more vacation time left than I thought I did. 10.5 days to be exact. I need to use 5.5 of them by the end of the year. I want to transfer 5 of those days over to the next year.
Pfft. Kid stuff. As is I've currently got about 28 days worth of annual leave, about 8.5 of which I have to use up before the end of the calendar year for our Use or Lose policy. Max carryover is 240 hrs.
Sick leave - I've currently got about 81.5 days of that. No max on that, and if I recall correctly, when people retire they can cash out on whatever they've got left.
