Hey, I remember those. I did those last semester. Those are kind of fun....unlike the composition of functions crap I have to go do now.

Blech.

Still have blood and gore?

not really. i showered before she got here, so the dried blood and such was gone. but still bad looking.

sad to say though as a photogr...um, camera operator, Jess is a really great engineer. ;-)

pics were taken. and i REALLY appreciate her taking them, but they aren't what i was imagining.

i'll see if i can crop them appropriately when i'm feeling a bit more dexterous.

::hangs head in shame::

And here I was proud I didn't get the camera strap in the pictures...

hey. you did good. it's just funny that being able to so many things so well, something i think of as just a natural ability kicks yer ass. ;-)

Heh, someday I'll pull out my crappy collection of pictures from Japan, and you will laugh at how horrible they are!

...that would actually be funny, to take a collection of the worst pictures and stick them in a photo album. I could hand it to people and watch them sit there with a pronounced "What the hell is this supposed to be?!?" look on their faces. :D

Sounds like my family photo album... Honestly, those are my children! And my uncles and aunts! Yes, that one is me.... j/k ;P

We're doing functions this quarter, too. These are the easier ones. It's those graphing equations where you have to find the domain and range for each equation and they end up with d = {-∞, ∞}; r = {-∞,0] that messes me up. Grrr... Midterm today (even though it's only the third week!). Then we go into polynomials, which would actually be a blessing for me.

Typo. Should read 3x - 18 = 90. 3x = 90 + 18 = 108. x=36 The rest is right. Hehe

Confused me for a bit there

Actually, he corrected his mistake by subtracting 18 from 90 rather than adding 18.

Frustrating day thus far. Bike chain just slipped off the gear this morning despite the fact that it is a single speed, and I am finding it hard to put it back on because of the modifications I had made. There seems to be a part that is going weird on me, and I am not sure what it is or does. If I am unable to ride home today, I'll be pissed - I have the second job tonight and can't make it to the shop today. Last night was also a disappointment in that the wife and I took a friend to a burlesque show that had ridiculously expensive drinks and food and was populated by girls that were excellent dancers but made me pine for bbq sauce, as they were composed of naught but jutting ribs and pasties. And to top things off, my morning guava bread is far too much bread and not nearly enough guava. Grr. Frustrating.

I am sorry for your frustrations my friend. Bike chains happen, and when you ride as much as you do it will at times happen to you. Be glad for the little things that this is not an oft reoccurring issue.

I am speechless for the burlesque show issue. I can say just be glad that you were not um how should we say it, traumatized as a young man in his first "strip" club where not only were they waif thin, a tragedy to be sure, but also pregnant and showing. While I have no issues with a pregnant woman now, at 18 it was a horror onto my darkest nightmares.

i would if I could, but I cannot make heads or tails over what they did to fix the gear. I'll take a longer look after work today, but I did see some small guard or something hanging off that I think is now going to interfere with the pedaling necessary for forward momentum.

thanks man. Lord knows I should be to through more bike chains than most, but I am frustrated because my bike is barely a month old-this should not be happening yet. Still, things can and do go wrong at the worst times, and is no exception. And I empathize with you on the strip club front, the first one i went to, i got to see what a woman between breast enhancement surgeries looked like. It... was not pretty.

Are there any female Smurfs?

As listed in our big list of Smurf characters at the top of the page, there are three female Smurfs: Smurfette, Sassette, and Nanny.

Sassette Smurfling : Sassette was created by the Smurflings to serve as a sister for themselves and Smurfette. Sassette is an outdoorsy kind of girl, sports red hair and freckles, and wears pink overalls.

Nanny Smurf : Nanny is a nanny to the Smurfs (as her name implies). She has a pet named Smoogle.
