I only wish I could have brought my boy with me, but he's too little. Maybe one day.......

Six-seven years from now. Maybe earlier if you'll get whole family on trip.

Scarab Sages

Yeah, but then my wife would want to do normal tourist stuff instead of gaming.

Scarab Sages

Gonna chill for a bit before my flight. Next post should be from Seattle!

Have a safe flight AZ.

Liberty's Edge

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July!

Now, back to the meatgrinder.

Good morning everyone, hope all is well in FawtlLand :)

Happy and safe travels to all who are on thier way to Seattle! Enjoy the Con! And please... UPDATES for those of us stuck at home :)

We have a new kitten! We were grilling out yesterday (of course) and as we were wrapping up, getting ready to bring the food in, this kitten comes walking right up our steps, and attaches itself to Hubby! It sauntered right in and made himself at home! We have decided to call him Hamburgler, as he crashed our bbq. :)

Poor hubby has been sick all week. He has a nasty cough and sore throat (prolly from the cough). I don't think he slept more than an hour last night :(

Solnes? Solnes? The name sound sort of familiar. ~shakes my head~ I could have sworn that I knew SOMEONE by that name.

I hope that Moor-whatever his name is gets better. ~grins and runs~

Looks like Kellen is going on a last minute trip to PA w/ my mom and lil bro. Unhappy with the last minute thing, but happy that he gets to enjoy much of his summer. I just wish the other two kidlets could get as much attention as he is so far this summer vaca :P

The Exchange

You just want a break is all ;)

The Exchange

I keep trying to talk my oldest into getting a job and a savings account.

Crimson Jester wrote:

Well yeah.. but.. Kellen has so far spent three weeks with his Granny on the farm, and now a week trip to PA with my family.. Ari and Riley have gotten to go to the movies with me every week and spent one nite with my mom, but thats it so far. I know its cause Kellen is older and easier to entertain and all but still... :S

WHY OH WHY IS IT THAT I CAN NEVER FIND SOCKS??????

Good morning everyFAWTL. Back to the salt mines after a frustrating July 4th. Mom called at an ungodly hour in the morning terrified of the rat that was caught in her trap. I actually dreamt the phone call more than heard it. But she was frantic on it and only a little less than frantic when I spoke to her later. She asked me to come over early today to let the exterminator in and also to do some heavy lifting. I said I would, but realized it would mean I would miss July 4th at a friend's. So it was a quiet day with me and the wife and we caught up on true blood and spent time together. I'm getting ready to call it an early night when mom calls back and says I don't need to come over after all, but can I do Friday. When I say I have to work, so says I have a tone and we start bickering. Ugh. Frustrating.

Still, having some work done in the house today myself, and we have our own uninvited guest. It seems that be a bit of summer madness...

I feel for you man, I had days like that with my mother too. Well before she started sliding off into lala land and then passed away out of the blue. Not that she was ever truly mentally stable or so the few relations I know of have told me. I would love to be able to go over and deal with a mouse for her. I do not envy you or anyone else from having to deal with even a dead New York rat. Not from the few videos I have seen of them. They are big suckers.

I always loved working, but savings accounts can be tricky if they have minimum balance shenanigans. I would prefer a checking account with direct deposit to avoid fees.

There are just some things that one could live a thorough and pleasant lifetime without ever needing to see.

That's what cats are for, to deposit 1/2 a rat or mouse on your door-step.

Might be worth mentioning there won't be any trust funds coming his/her way at 18. ;)

Oh no, it is in all probability a mouse. Gigantic rats only appear in subways and parks (right aeglos and CH?) But the problem I have isn't doing things for her, its the idea that she feels that I will drop everything for her at the drop of a hat. It was bad enough when I was in high school/college and living with her, it is a whole new headache now that I am married and living in the same neighborhood.

And speak of the devil. Now I'm going over to her place at 7 tomorrow. Sigh.

If only they could be taught to eat Spanish forest slugs, those pests need a natural predator before they overrun every non-desert/non-tundra area of the world.

Just needs a little salt, probably.

Whats up with this facebook anyway? My friends bother me from time to time to sign up but no one offered sensible reason for that.

I have G+ but it was accident that was caused by me having gmail account, which in itself was side effect of me signing up to youtube to be able to watch videos marked as mature content. Or maybe it was to watch movies? I can't recall at the moment.

Arrrgggghhhhh!!! My (insert a long string of curse words here) Motorola Bluetooth Headset that I paid $50+ for just broke!!! ~curses some more~ It is bad enough that it is so hard to get replacement ear holder thingies for the cheaper ones, but now the expensive ones are breaking too? ~curses some more~
