Scarab Sages

Didn't do my usual blitz this morning, as I was the one who drove us to work today. Finally unloaded some of the furniture I've been trying to get rid of on a co-worker. Gave him a great deal - $40 for a little 3 drawer dresser and a shelf - both in really good shape.

Scarab Sages

And, I think I've got him on the line for one of the 2 BBQ pits my wife ordered and sent to our house by mistake at Christmas time.! WOOT!

Scarab Sages

Yesterday afternoon we went over to a buddies house for a BBQ. Charlie got to meet another friends 8-month old puppy, Lexi. Of course, she out weighs him by about 60 pounds, since she's a great dane puppy.

Needless to say, between that and our trip to the mall yesterday morning, Charlie slept really well last night.

Anyway, gonna keep this short and sweet. Gotta go do stuff. Later folks.

And here, done with the morning errands and at my desk. Woo.

Thanks to all of you for your sympathy and good wishes. Funeral for my niece was Sunday, so it's been a busy weekend. My brother and the rest of his family are doing as well as can be expected, I guess. And I'm back to the regular grind today.

What's up with the rest of you?

Last week of school for my daughter. Should be fun. Graduation is Sat.

Had some friends of the kids over for a BBQ yesterday. Weird when your kid's friends have babies. Getting old.

#2 son's car broke down Sat nite. Water pump seized. The guy he bought the car from 2 years ago is gonna fix it for him. Gotta luv neighbors. Woot!

1st meeting with the CFO since my boss submitted her notice is today in 2 hours. Hope I don't have gas.

Shaping up to be a busy week. (hehe, typo. Typed busty week. I wish!)

Work work.

At least I seem to be out of that depressive funk I was in over the weekend. =/

Yeah... I've been hearing lately that some of the people I went to high school with are now grandparents, which is just bizarre to me. I still think of them as being too young to have kids, much less grandkids!

Every week is a busty week for me. Most of them are busy, too. :)

This is good. I'm sorry to hear you've been having a tough time.

Thanks. It comes and goes. Though I find it comes less when I'm working or have some project to keep me regularly busy.

The weekend wasn't that much fun. So, the week can only get better, right? RIGHT?

punches Ashe's weekend in the face

My past weekend wasn't overly awesome. I did two sidequest mini adventures for the Darklight Sisterhood game, and one game was AWESOME while the other game was only okay. I was supposed to do the last game yesterday but it was just. too. hot. I mean just WAY too hot. And humid. I couldn't think. My player texted me wondering what was up, I feel like a heel cancelling. I sent something via e-mail to make up for it, but it feels like a bit of a cop out. I hope to play with her on Thursday and I want to do something nice to make up for it.

Ugh. I broiled yesterday.

That's good to hear. I would normally punch your depression if it hadn't gone away.

BUSTY WEEK! BUSTY WEEK! BUSTY WEEK!!! No such thing as an overly busty week.

I have a memorial to go to this week myself, on Friday, for my wife's aunt. It's going to be a somber week, I think.

I invoke Rule 34 on that 34th post.
That post had a leukemia-suffering 7-year old in it...

I don't create the Internet rules. Frighteningly, it probably exists in the deep underbellies of Germany, Russia, or the Czech Republic.

EDIT: As implied here.

Sorry. Migraines suck. Have some coffee, the caffeine will help.

Forgot to mention that my daughter danced in the city parade Saturday, for an early Memorial Day. She slipped on the rain fresh pavement and scraped her knee pretty badly. She bounced right up and got back to the routine. Then finished the mile route. So proud.

Of course she was miserable afterwards, but that's OK.

I once broke my toe during a performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat but roughed it out to finish the show and do three more that weekend. Performing arts are hazardous to one's health.

Those are not mutually exclusive.

My bike once fell apart underneath me and I had a spectacular crash that resulted in a badly bleeding cut. I made the mistake of telling my mom about it (I was living with her at the time), and she wanted me to call 911. I shrugged off that concern and walked home instead, still have the scar.

My highschool love oldest two daughters have just within the last few months both had kids of their own. She is now on her second marriage and has elementary school aged kids with her second husband.

Mine are both in High School right now.

Well, Scott's trip to Florida proved fruitful, as he was able to recruit another gentleman into his new business organization. Meanwhile, Jeremy had finally come to the realization that his collection of antique farming tools would soon be complete, leaving him to find a new hobby. And, across town, Max and Doug finally came face-to-face with....No, wait! That's my soap opera.

Hope everyone who had it, had a good Memorial Day Weekend. Mine was full of brisket, homemade fixings, and a table top version of my PBP campaign. We started it over Christmas vacation and are just now getting back to it. Good times and full bellies for all.

Now I am sitting in the DFW airport waiting for a flight to St. Louis followed by a puddle jumper flight to Quincy, IL for training. Have a great week everyone. And remember, just a little over a month until PaizoCon!

One of my professional email lists seems to have been overrun by conspiracy theorists. It's not particularly professionally enlightening anymore, but it's entertaining. :)

Didn't we used to have a conspiracy theory thread here on the forums? If not we need to make one. =)
