Word Burning and level 0 spells

Round 2: Words of Power Discussion

I have a few question about how the Word Burning feat works.

A Wizard with the Word Burning feat expends a level 2 spell to gain 7 extra points.
He then prepares a level 0 spell with:
Single:0/Acid Burn:3/Spark:3/Flame Jet:2
It requires a total of 8 points (3 base + 5 of the extra points).
You don't expend level 0 spells when cast:

Wizards can prepare a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells, each day, as noted on Table: Wizard under “Spells per Day.” These spells are cast like any other spell, but they are not expended when cast and may be used again. A wizard can prepare a cantrip from an opposition school, but it uses up two of his available slots (see below).

1. Did i miss something? (just read the Word of Glory rules)

2. Can the buffed spell be cast infinite times since it is never expended?
3. The Wizard is now a Sorcerer

I was having the same issue. I wish I could find an answer to it.

It is a weak spell, multiple types of damage (useless against creatures with multiple types of energy resistance), Is two types of magic (Evocation and Conjuration), allows SR vs all of it. Id say it is pretty balanced.

Not sure what you mean by the Word of Glory rules.

On the repeatedly casting... my assumption is that even though the spellslot isn't expended, the points from wordburning are.

I think it was confirmed on a different post that a 0 level slot with word burning wasn't expended, you could use the full point limit over and over again. I'd want to double check before saying for sure though.
