FACELESS JUGGERNAUT

On rare ocasions a mortal body is not enough to further some endeavors. But when no greater forces intervene, somebody has to take the role and everything that's needed then, is a symbol of unforgiven hate. Such symbol are the faceless juggernauts, leaving aside the memory of their mortality and furthering their legend to instill fear in the hearts of their enemies at the very sound of their name.

Role: Most faceless juggernauts strife for revenge, but rarely they devote themselves to the protection of persons, cities, communities or holy places.

Hit Die: d10.

REQUIREMENTS
To qualify to become a faceless juggernaut, a character must fulfill al the following criteria.

Base Attack Bonus: +7.

Special: A faceless juggernaut must have his face deformed or be owner of a mask or helmet he will always wear. To take the first level as faceless juggernaut, a character must journey through the world and kill everybody who might recognise him by fighting style, movement or voice. There may only be one exception: a slave with his tonue cut out, to help him don his armour.

Skills: Disguise 5 Ranks, Intimidate 5 ranks

Feats: Blindfight, Combat Reflexes, Endurance, Diehard

CLASS SKILLS
The faceless juggernaut's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Disguise (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Perception (Wis), Perform (Cha), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), Stealth (Dex) and Survival (Wis).
A faceless juggernaut only has perform (fight) as a class skill. This does not bring any money. Instead a faceless juggernaut may make a perform (fight) check any time he kills a creature. For every 5 points the result exceeds 10 plus the difference of the juggernauts HD and the victims HD (lesser creatures add to the reference value, stronger creatures decrease it), the faceless juggernaut gains a +1 circumstance bonus to all intimidate checks for a number of rounds equal to the juggernauts base attack bonus.

CLASS FEATURES
All of the following are features of the faceless juggernaut prestige class.

Weapon and Armor proficiency: Faceless juggernauts are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with alltypes of armor (heavy, medium and light) and with shields

Bonus Feat: Every other level the faceless juggernaut may take one bonus feat from the fighter's bonus feat list.

Intimidating Blows (Ex): At 1st level, a faceless juggernaut gains the ability to instill fear with his very attacks. Any time he deals damage, a faceless juggernaut may make an intimidate check (DC 10 + victims HD + victims wisdom modifier - his own HD). If the check suceeds, the victim is frightened for 1 round. Intimidating Blows is a mind-affecting fear effect.

CriticalFocus: At 2nd level, a faceless juggernaut gains critical focus as a bonus feat.

Terror of the Unknown (Ex): At 3rd level, a faceless juggernaut gains the ability to scare his enemies by stalking them in the dark. As long as the faceless juggernaut gains any concealment bonus, he gains a bonus to intimidate equal to his juggernaut class level.

Bleeding Critical: at 4th level, a faceless juggernaut gains bleeding critical as a bonus feat.

Instill Fear (Sp): At 5th level, a faceless juggernaut gains the ability to instill fear in his enemies (as the fear spell). as a full round action. To do this, he must successfully kill an enemy with a coup de grace and be able to use vocal components.

Unsettling Touch (Ex): At 6th level, a faceless juggernaut gains the ability to "curse" objects he touches.As a standard action he may simply touch an object and mutter some words in a foreign tongue. The result of this is, that everybody who knows, the object is "cursed", must make a will save (DC 10 + the juggernauts HD + the juggernauts total intimidate score) or cannot touch the object. A creature wielding or carrying the object, while it is "cursed" must succeed a will save or is panicked for 1 round.

Frightful Presence (Ex): At 7th level, a faceless juggernaut gains an aura of frightful presence (30 ft.). At 9th level this increases to 60 ft. the save DC for this aura is 10 + the juggernauts HD + the juggernauts total intimidate score.

Walk it off (Ex): At 8th level, a faceless juggernaut gains the ability to frighten his enemies by simply ignoring their attacks. Any time a faceless juggernaut is hit, he may make a perform (fight) check (DC 10 + attackers HD - juggernauts HD + damage taken). If he succeeds in this check, the attacker is frightened for one round.

Eye of Madness (Su): At 10th level, a faceless juggernaut gains the ability to cause madness with a glimpse. Thus he gains the ability to cast insanity as a gaze attack targeting any one creature within 30 ft. To do this, he must successfully kill an enemy with a coup de grace. Will (DC 10 + killed creatures HD + the juggernauts total intimidate score) negates.

Code of Conduct: A faceless juggernaut must never change his armour, clothing, style, weapons or other features in a scale that he is not recognised anymore.
A faceless juggernaut must kill anybody who sees his true face.

EX-JUGGERNATS
A faceless juggernaut who fails to follow the code of conduct loses all his faceless juggernaut class featuers except critical focus and bleeding critical. He may not progress any further in levels as faceless juggernaut. He regains his abilities and advancement potential if he atones for his violations.

VARIANT: RHIONITE FACELESS JUGGERNAUT
The rhinoite faceless juggernaut works just as the normal faceless juggernaut but for the following changes.
In rhinoite society, becoming a faceless juggernaut and thereby an elite warrior is one of the rare ways for humans or dwarves to become members of the blood caste. Often they are awarded with a unique mask and an earth caste servant upon ascending to the blood caste.

Role: As most rhinoite characters the rhinoite faceless juggernauts journey through the worlds to remind the weak peoples of the great rhino's presence and to spread his holy word.

Alignment: As all rhinoites a rhinoite faceless juggernaut must be of any chaotic alignement and worship the great rhino.

REQUIREMENTS

Special: Unlike the normal faceless juggernaut, the rhinoite faceless juggernaut need not kill any other rhinoite characters who know his true identity. The rhinoite faceless juggernaut must not have a slave.

CLASS FEATURES

Code of Conduct: A rhinoite faceless juggernaut need not kill other rhinoites if they see his true face.
