I've been looking through fantasy sword buying sites and ran across what i think an elven curvebalde should look like Here and i'm wondering what everyone else thinks they look like :)
To me it looks like the salvation of an elven combat rogue. Swashbuckler archetype gives a martial weapon, elves get Curveblade as martial. Finesse, str14 for power attack, and voila. Good times to be had. Sure, you give up trapfinding, but some UMD and a wand of Find Traps solves that.

The image you linked to is a little short for the full curved blade but not too far off from what I would think it would have to be. There were a couple of images similar to the one you linked to, though with longer blades, that I identified as elven curved blades in #30 Unique Magical Blades, if you are looking for something with a good illustration for one.
I found this elven curve blade, it could fit the idea of the weapon. The handle reminds me of japanese weapons, which are seen as fast and elegant weapons - not that bad for an elven weapon.

I agree with Wicht about the length of what you linked, Bertious. Though I think a blade with that shape and design but slightly longer than a longsword would fit.
I figured the short blade would be what allowed finess and the long handle gave leverage for damage :)
