Feat / Trait reference

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I've been combing my books, unsuccessfully, for the reference on a feat or trait. The mechanic was that by setting aside a certain amount of gold that the person would then be able to produce the equivalent value of item(s) when he desired. The 'stock', represented by a gold piece value, could be replenised when a city was visited. Ring any bells?

IIRC, it's from the APG as either a halfling-only feat or an alternate racial trait of halflings.
Also, the IIRC one of the prestige classes from the core has it as an ability.

I'm not to good on the APG or prestige classes though, mostly play low-level and don't own the APG myself.

Isn't that a class ability of the pathfinder chronicler?

Sounds like the "Profits of Kalistrade" feat from the PFCS, p.73

Kamelguru-yes that's it. It also explains why I couldn't find it on my feat/trait index since it's a class ability. Thanks to all for their input. On the occasions I've called on the Paizo community they've never disappointed.

Thanks again, much gnashing of teeth avoided!

In the Orsirion Companion, there's a feat called Black Marketeer, which does similar to the Kalistrade stuff, but only for illegal black market items.

In the Adventure's Armory, there's a trait called Dealmaker which allows to you get an item with a price range greater than what any given city would normally allow.

Both are PFS legal too

The halfling-only feat is "Well Prepared", you can find it here:
