Vid,
My mom yells my name a lot that sounds like a banshee death cry at times...

Ray's summation of Durkon in the final panel is exactly why I've always liked Durkon so much.

I like the panel where Haley, V, and Elan all have the same shocked expression on their faces, but have completely different takes on why it's so shocking. Other than Belkar (and the animals), this comic really sums up the individual personalities of the entire Order surprisingly well.
The real question in my mind is why the brewmaster knows about the prophecy, when none of the priests do.
Also, from all the past tense stuff dealing with Durkon's family in his memories, I'd been expecting them to all be dead by now. But given the young priest recognizing the last name and knowing Durkon's mother, I suspect she's alive and probably about to meet the Order.

Right now it's a run off between Durkon breaking off his own leg to kick his own ass or I already do not like where this is heading.

He does, in fact, provide meaningful jobs for a lot of disadvantaged ravens. If by, "a lot" you mean, "two" - and I know I do!
Odin might be a dick, but it's not his fault some mortals always keep trying to screw up the balance of the multiverse...
Also yes, he's good for ravens and wolves. Maybe snakes.

Ah but then the OOTS would of not have an awesome dwarf healer to keep them alive. then xylon would of won and the universe would be destroyed already.
Wasn't Odin's prophecy one brought by his senility anyway?

Odin works in strange ways.

Well, has Walhalla already mentioned as existing in the OoTS universe? Because that would actually explain a lot of Odin's antics (like it does in real-world norse mythology).
I mean; Ragnarok is coming anyway, so the halls of Walhalla better be filled with heroes.

At the vote Odin said "I see worlds within worlds, and yarn spinning yarn,"
I think this has something to do with the mystery world. Maybe their planet will form a new one?
Odin doesn't want the world to end. We know that yet he has something to gain from Durkula returning to Dwarven lands. It may have been a false prophecy.
Maybe Durkula will free the mystery world?

Durkon would still be with the OOTS. But, the vampire spirit would have fewer hooks into Durkin's mind.

That was Belker quietly saying that "Durkon didn't blame him for having to face the vampire."

I guess Rich was just waiting until TRB said something.
Right now the biggest thing standing in the Raven's way of being a death blender is not being an Eidolon.

We need a Familiar (Caster) vs Companion (Martial) disparity thread NOW ;-P
Ah. That brings back good memories of a comic book where the protagonists were the heroic pets of our usual Superheroic crowd (do not remember whether it was DC's JL or Marvel's Avengers though)

Yeah, I feel like we haven't seen the last of Hilgya, either. With the way Loki voted at the Godsmoot, she's on the same side as the OotS, now.

It would be an interesting twist if her rejection by Durkon shook her faith and she ended up sseking redemption by worshipping a non-Evil Lawful deity (maybe even a LG one) who voted Yes at the Godsmoot XD
She could even spout the old Durkon's party line :
Durkon said in OOTS 84 wrote: And bein' a dwarf is about doin' yer duty, even if it makes ye miserable. ESPECIALLY if it makes ye miserable ! That would give those words a really nasty twist
