Baron,
Considering I've been in multiple groups and none of them had any subtlety about voicing their dislike of my wizards...I think my paladins are more welcome.

Unloved and Under Appreciated PC Wizards you say? Now that’s my area of advanced doctrinal expertise.

I'm sincerely hoping that Julia doesn't try to date Belkar...but who knows.
Also baron, I wouldn't say unloved so much as "Why did you cast that spell now???"

Spiritual Counseling
Given the title, I was expecting it to focus on Julia (somewhat posing as a spirit) giving Roy advice. This was interesting in a completely different way.

I was expecting the same thing, Fromper. I'm glad I got surprised and also felt like "Hey this is the kind of PC characters we need more of!"

Another thing I'm realizing is that he's going more into the details of secondary team members than I would expect. It's almost as if he's setting up Minrah, Bandana, etc to be OOTS: The Next Generation when the current story ends.

Does anybody have a link that directs to the most recent OotS comic? One that's not a static link to a specific comic? The old link that I used to use no longer works.

It looks like the comics section has been reorganized. You can still check the Order of the Stick archives, but it doesn't look like there is a page that auto-forwards to the most recent comic.

Thanks. Maybe they'll get around to it soon, but if not it's not a big deal.

New comic is up, and all I can think of is 'Roy would be excellent at CinemaSins.'
Seems to be channeling the audience on the god talk.

Regardless, it's good to know Roy Greenhilt's dad life lesson was something he taught even if he didn't mean that way.

Can someone remind me what Eugene agreed to while Roy was dead?

To never visit Roy's mother when he was allowed in after the blood oath was resolved.
Reference.

Thanks for that reminder, Tri. And yeah I'm glad that while Julia MIGHT be a little...flightly, she's WAY more useful than her old man.
Also Belkar should try something new at least one a year. :P

I'm pretty sure Belkar is undergoing an alignment change. He probably can ditch that sheet of lead when a paladin is around now.

We'll probably learn of the change the next time his brooch activates.
Well if it is an alignment change it's more likely going from CE to CN. But i could be wrong.

Either way the Protection from Evil spell won’t hurt him anymore.

More evidence in favor of Belkar's alignment shift.
It looks like Belkar has been forced into that by the magnitude of the challenge they face--it's hard to be the sort of petty evil he was when you're up against the end of everything. Compare to Loki, who's definitely still evil, even though he's up against the end of everything as well.

I'll have you know Loki was never evil, just poorly written until recently! :p ;)
Also blowing up gates is bad.
