As the title states can you channel positive energy in a grapple?
Pinned does not say you can't move at all. Maybe extending your arm is all you have to do to extend it. I don't think there is a clear rule for it. It depends on how much your DM thinks pin restricts you other than what the rulebook says.

I might have to contradict you there by a literal reading:
A pinned creature cannot move .. A pinned creature can take verbal and mental actions, but cannot cast any spells that require a somatic or material component.
Now this has limits (the pinned condition doesn't make the creature helpless, for instance, and it allows speech) but it's a strongly worded restriction. It really does seem to be intended that the creature can take no bodily actions except to try to escape and can't reach any of its equipment.

Good catch. Thanks. This will be most useful for my next DM'ing session.

You mean your Clerics don`t blazen every inch of their body with their Holy symbol?
Mine usually have at LEAST 6 of them clearly displayed:Shield, Helm, Chest, Arm tattoos (other tattoos elsewhere as well, but those can be covered by everything else), Divine Focus on prayer beads, and one on my weapon.
Paladins have more, but that's cause they're not known for their subtlety :P
It comes from a long line of small characters that tend to get grappled and eaten, that reasoning also why i make sure all my characters have rings of feather falling:
"Screw you DM, you can drag me to the clouds and drop me, and I'll still make it to the ground safely!"
of course i still get swallowed whole, and have to carve my way out with a sickle, but still....
edit: spelling mistakes.

I would allow it if the holy symbol is displayed (either on the chest, or in hand or even on the ground near the player).
Channeling isn't a spell and it doesn't require somatic or material components. It requires your holy symbol ,which must only be presented.
This definition of present best fits.
