Who is that guy who appears on the cover of the GameMastery Guide? He also appears on one page in the Core Rulebook.

Is he an established iconic or just some guy who gets to appear now and then because his design is so absolutely badass? I mean please, the guy looks like he could kick the ass of whatever you throw at him from the bestiary. The terrasque would be begging for mercy :D

He's Karzoug the Claimer, the BBEG of the Rise of the Runelords AP. He is indeed badass.

He's one rat bastard whose going to experience a quick trip to a hostile plane. Preferably decapitated. Serves him right for that statue and those necklaces.

Tomorrow our group, which is playing a certain scenario in a certain AP, is going to reach a certain palace at the top of the world and end this menace once and for all.

Meteor Storm, Time Stop, Prismatic Wall, Wail of the Banshee, Horrid Wilting...oh and a barbarian, a called planetar and a paladin of Abadar dropping the fabled transmuter to -773 hit poimts.

Took 29 sessions and almost 1,5 years.

And feels damn good.
