Enlarge Person is utterly useless for a ZAM.

Not if you carry around large sized arrows in your efficient quiver's javelin slot.

I'm curious.

Large Arrows in quiver.

You get hit with Enlarge Person.

Your gear get's increased one size.

Bow is now large.

Large Arrows become Huge Arrows.

How can you fire them from the large bow? Or do you take them all out of your quiver, get enlarged, and then put them all back in? Doesn't that take time that takes off your duration on Enlarge Person? You can't just take the quiver off, it would then not be enlarged, and you couldn't fire anything but those arrows, or maybe even fit it around you.

Well at least in the game I'm playing the GM ruled anything stored inside the quiver (or a bag of holding or portable hole)wouldn't be enlarged. So when I had enlarge person on the bow I had inside was too small. That is when I started buying large arrows to store inside and would get a bow out before getting an enlarge.

I certainly could see ruling the other way though.

Ah, ok. I've always ruled the magic works on you and your equipment, including stuff in containers. Otherwise you have just the issue you specified, things not working when you pull them out. Imagine a potion that's too small to use due to size increases. :) Or yanking out a wand and it's so small you can't hold it. :)

The Exchange

This is an old thread, but I'm making a human ZA for PFS with a single dip into Sorcerer. If you take the wildblood: Empyreal then you get to use your WIS instead of your CHA for everything spell-related. Now you can still use CHA and INT as dump stats and apply your WIS to get an extra spell. (Like gravity bow). FYI

I think 1 level of Wizard MIGHT be worth it. If your GM lets it count for .5 BAB instead of 0 BAB, it helps a lot. Become a Divination Specialist with the Foresight Subdomain. Might be helpful.

Check out my post here if you want to see some more multiclassing options. (Somewhere after levels 9-12 is where I would multiclass out of ZAM)

ZAM Multiclassing

Why not go Alchemist and get cognatogen buff your wisdom by 4 or the mutagen and buff your STR i really think alchemist is best combo with ZAM

Yep,

I actually had a half-elf, used him for the dual favored class. Then I also put his skill focus into Perception.

I had a perception at level 3 of something like +18.

Funniest thing in the world, I would follow the rogue around, and then put a hand on his shoulder. "Pardon me, but shouldn't you disable that guillotine trap before you pick the lock on the door?" Drove the GM insane. :)
