Murro Garrickson |

Murro shrieks in pain and anger, stepping back (assuming he isn't grappled) and raising his hands.
"You mangy beasts!" he cries and a blue ray bursts from his fingertips toward one of the dogs.
5' step to O-11. Ranged Touch Attack (Ray of Frost) to dog at Q-12. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Gandel |

Gandel sidles around to the side of Murro to get a clear shot at one of the dogs harrying the sorcerer. Once he has a clear shot, he looses a bolt from his crossbow.
Move through square O-11 and square P-10 to square Q-9. Fire light crossbow at dog in square Q-12.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3

I will wait a little longer to see what Velletin wants to do, then I will finish up round 1 and start round 2.
Here's a new MAP

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

would i be able to charge at the dog in 13Q? and use the attack i rolled?
Because of where Gandel is and the terrain, you cannot charge. Just let me know where you want to move and roll a new attack. Re-posting Initiative.
Initiatives:
Dogs 21
Murro 18
Korganna 14
Valletin 13
Gandel 7 (+6)
Harold 7 (+2)

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

After the dogs viciously maul Murro’s leg, he steps back unleashing a ray of frost, striking one of the dogs in the ribs. Sweeping her leg back from the dogs jaws, Korganna rears back bringing her flail overhead and down onto the dogs midsection completely smashing it in half. Valletin steps around Gandel, swinging his scythe just over the uninjured dog’s head. Hoping to finish off the dog Murro blasted. Gandel aims down the sight of his crossbow, but the bolt lodges into the dog’s shoulder as it lets out a loud yelp. Harold moves quickly through his companions bringing a fatal wound to the dog’s neck with his ancestral greatsword.

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

Beginning Round 2
The last dog yelps with the pain of it's severe injuries and turns running away from you.
The dog is 60ft from most of you, if you want to take a shot at it. MAP

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

As Murro cries out for one of his companions to slay the offending dog, Korganna steps forward and launches one of her throwing axes at the mutt, hitting it in the back of the neck. It slams to the ground sliding another five feet as a pool of blood forms around it.
Congratulations on your first battle. 100xp each.

Harold Wainright |

Harold wrinkles his nose in mild disgust.
"I will decline my share of that particular bounty. Dog flesh has a slightly too acrid taste for my palate. Shall we move on?"
Not waiting for a reply, Harold moves on to the right-hand doorway.

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

"I'm not a tailor so I can't do anything about the trousers, but I do know a little on healing, let me take a look at that wound for you Murro"
Heal check 1d20 +7
What exactly is the Heal check for? I can only find one thing that would benefit Murro and that's Treat Deadly Wounds, which would take an hour. In the description it states that it consumes 2 uses of a healer's kit or you take a -2, which would drop your result to 18 and the DC is 20.

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

The northern wing of the tower seems to have escaped the worst effects of the collapse, but rubble still litters the floor and everything is covered in a thick layer of stone dust. Thick cobwebs cloak the ceiling and hang down the walls like gossamer tapestries. A single archway stands open in the southwest wall.

Harold Wainright |

*shrug* Although it has no in-game effect, you could still use a Heal check to treat the wound, irrigating it, putting in stitches if necessary, and applying a bandage, so that it at least looks a bit better :-)
Harold eyes the cobwebs with trepidation.
Those are a little too thick for my liking.
"Korganna, from what I can tell, you seem to like destroying things. Would you care to set fire to the webs?"
I am not sure how well in character that would work, but IRL, thick spiderwebs are actually extremely flammable...

Korganna Skullcracker |

"Korganna can do..."
Cautiously she will get closer to the webs, flail ready, looking for nasty arachnids. If safe she'll use spark to ignite the webs.
"Flickum bicus!"
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
So intent on the coming destructive power of flame, that she isn't exactly cautious...almost skipping up to the webs...
bad time for a flub...

Web Ranged Touch 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Initiatives:
Valletin 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Korganna 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Harold 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Murro 1d20 ⇒ 20
Gandel 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Spider 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
As Korganna skips up to the web to ignite it, a string of webbing flies by her shoulder attaching to the wall next to her. When you look up toward the ceiling, a giant spider crouches in it's web looking ready to pounce.

Valletin 22

Harold Wainright |

Well, in that case...
Noting that the spider is, for the moment, out of his reach, Harold draws his sling, and hurls a bullet at the spider on the roof!
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16, for 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 damage.

Cairnlands Lorekeeper |

Well, you can still burn it if you want, but that spider is dead.
Gandel takes aim after Valletin and Murro injure the spider and the well placed shot hits it directly in the mouth as it shrieks. Staggered by Gandel's bolt, the spider is slow to react and gets hit square in the head by Harold's sling bullet, which drops it to the ground where it's legs curl in around it as it dies.
Where the spider hung, you notice a small cocoon. It looks like there may be something in it.
80xp a piece. Good job everyone.

Harold Wainright |

Stowing his sling, Harold draws his Greatsword, and uses it to cut down the coccoon for closer inspection...
"I hope that there is something of interest in here..."
Someone who is better at Perception than Harold should also search the room :-)

Gandel |

"I hope that there is something of interest in here..."
"I just hope it's something and not someone," Gandel says.
"On second thought, something could be either good or bad," he adds, backing away from the cocoon as Harold begins to open it with his sword.
The observant halfling takes a look around the room, crossbow at the ready should any other antagonistic arachnids make an appearance.
Perception check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
