With only a few articles, YouTube videos and a friends advice I purchased the Core rulebook and the advanced players guide. Since then I've been checking this website daily looking for more options for my players.
I would rather have a product well balanced/play-tested then have it sooner, however that being said I am very sad that we can't get Ultimate Magic and Ultimate Combat sooner.
I'm always looking for more options for my players. I'm happy with the alternate class features provided by the Advance players guide but I wish there were more race options available.
I want more Pathfinder!!!
I don't care what you have to do(hire a few more people and/or sell your souls) but I want as many options in pathfinder as I once had in 3.5 without using material form 3.5 books.

Some of the 3rd Party Publishers are good. I'm a big fan of Super Genius Games, and their Genius Guides. The Genius Guides to various sorts of feats are really good buys for the low price tag.
Rite publishing's 101 series is also affordably crunchy and I like what I've purchased thus far. Feats 101 is god, and I'm starting to consider buying their 101 spells series.

I'm very weary of 3rd Party products.
I remember not liking any 3rd party products I saw for 3.5.
I even bought Kalamar players guide (because I was running a Kalamar campaign) it wasn't balance well and uses non-standard BAB and saves.
Don't close your mind though.
The stuff from Super Genius is amazingly good.
No I do not work for them.

Which is kinda odd since many of the people that run 3pp are people that use to write for WotC or other big name publishers. Not all of them but more than a few.
My best advice is check out some 3pp for pathfinder. most of them are pretty cheap. most are under 5 bucks.

I read reviews of everything I bought before I even thought of buying it. Hasn't steered me wrong yet. Most of the 3PP products are being sold on Paizo's site as well as drivethrurpg.com, so there are two sources of reviews.
On top of that, one of Super Genius' people was just hired by Paizo. That's a pretty good sign.

+1 for Super Genius Games. Their products are top notch and I have yet to see anything from them that I didnt want at my table. Its a load of great options great balance, great flavor. I own just about all of the stuff they've put out for pathfinder.

These Genius guides give a lot of options but limit the potential for abuse because the players have to swap out a lot of cool abilities for the archetypes.

If you are really that wary of 3PP, then I'd suggest some of the setting material. Even if you don't set your campaign within Golarion, the following books can be very useful:
Adventurer's Armory
Classic Horrors Revisited
Classic Treasures Revisited
And if you're willing to go back to the 3.5/OGL stuff, I'd also recommend the following books as being not overly Golarion-specific:
Classic Monsters Revisited
Dragons Revisited
Dungeon Denizens Revisited
