We are going to start this AP this Sunday and we're very excited!
One thing I've noticed is that there don't seem to be a lot of good Arabian, desert themed minis. Specifically, good minis for characters.
We only use pre painted plastic minis (mainly the WOTC D&D minis, but also a few of Reapers pre painted plastic etc)
Can anyone point me in the direction of some good minis to use for characters that keep the theme of this setting?

Assuming you are willing to paint them:
Step one: Go the the reaper site
Step two: Go to the figure Finder at the bottom of the left hand column
Step 3: Type in Arabian
I just did this and 18 figures came up, including a box set.
The other place to use is some of the Lord of the Rings figures from GW. The Haradim are quite good.
The other suggestion is Black Tree Designs they have some in their Feudal era minis - link.
If you are the DM and looking for a list of all the figures you could need, there is a thread in this forum about it (I know cause I contibuted)

EDIT: I am a painter, so don't pay a lot of attention to pre-painted. The three companies I could suggest looking at would be the Egyptians from Arcane Legions, EM4 prepainted or maybe some of the Heroscape stuff. I cannot think of anyone that specifically does Arabic prepainted.
There were some paper mini's made specifically for this Adventure Path. You can get them here.
You don't need to paint these and they are pretty simple to print out and assemble. We're using these, along with some I painted and some prepainted ones.
Related, I've seen hints that Reaper will be making some LoF specific mini's. Including Almah, Shazathared, the Carrion King and a Pact Master. These won't help you, but I'm hoping the Carrion King comes out before my players get to him.

I was disappointed in the paper minis. They're far too cute and cartoony for the "romantic epic" feel of a Ray Harryhausen movie. Like having your PC's fight the Simpsons.

I would just look through the DnD mini singles from the site here. Its probably your best bet.
Those Hell Dorado figures are great. I might have bought a few if I could navigate the site.

I know that the OP is looking for prepainted minis, but for those willing to paint their minis I did put together a good list on the Paizo site that has a large number of minis used for Howl of the Carrion King. It doesn't include all the enemies by far, but it's a good list of them.

Wow! Those minis ARE perfect for Legacy of Fire! Just to confirm - are they pre-painted plastic ?!?!?!? They seem way too well done for pre-painted. Are they the correct (25mm) scale? It's hard to tell since everything is in French!
Assuming yes to the above, how the heck do you buy them? Can you get them here at Paizo? I'm guessing the only way to figure out ording from that site is if you speak French ... or can you get them in stores? I've actually never heard of the game ...

Not to try and compete, there is a thread here which list every monster in the adventure path and the figures that I am planning on using (if there is a figure, there are some that I just couldn't find something for. I was really hoping the paper figure line would come through for some of the stranger ones).
I do have some of the Hell Dorado figures...and they are unpainted metal.
While not Arabian themed, the new Dungeon's and Dragons mini set coming out this month has a Roc, a Huge Blue Dragon, and an Aspect of Yeenoghu that looks like it would make a great mini for the Carrion King (or other unchosen).

That Huge Blue Dragon is going to be Ultra rare - Auggies is listing it @ 49.99 preorder
The marvelous Sanwah68 has recommended that a good miniature to represent the Unchosed Gnoll would be one of the figures from the plastic Wolven Hunters pack from the Confrontation game.
That miniature could work, but personally I don't think the head of the wolfen look particulary Gnoll-like. It's clearly a wolf head and not a hyena.
I'm probably going to have to use a toy hyena's head of the proper size and put in on a hairy body. Does anyone have an idea for a properly muscule, hairy body - peferably in pre-painted plastic?

While they're only medium, I'm planning on using the Gnoll Demon Adept from the Demonweb set of DDM and I'll just use my precut bigger bases for them.

Those are the ones I used as well. Just used a poker chip under them to make them Large Size.

I appreciate the suggestion, but I'm sort of a miniatures finatic. I've never used a medium monster with a larger base to represent a large creature. My players tell me that I set a "pretty" gaming table - full scenery, painted figures for all PC's, allies, and monsters along with trees, flowers, shrubs, rocks, hills and different levels of buildings. I blame it on being a model railroad builder in my youth.
Perhaps it's selfish or even arrogent of me, but I don't want to disapoint my players. Several of them have told me how the visual effects I present help them to get more into their characters. I take pride in that.
Currently, I'm thinking of taking a toy hyeana and transfering the head and mane onto a large furry body. But I'm open to better (and less intensive) solutions. Any thoughts?

Have you looked at the Koborlas faction from Reaper's Warlord line? They have some that are on Large Bases. In fact, I am using this for my Carrion King (though I did use a 50mm round base for him rather than the square one).
Maybe this would be more to your liking? Yes, they are more wolf like than jackal-like but I figure they are close enough and one of my players looked real nervous when the Carrion King hit the table.

Thanks for the tips. The Reaper Feral Hunter should do quite nicely. I may have to round the ears just a bit, but with a good gnoll/hyena-like paint job, and the addition of a large weapon in the right hand, he should work just fine.
It's interesting that you recomended a reaper figuer, as I was considering using the one here, but had dismissed him as he didn't look ferocious enough and wore too much armor. That's what I get for limiting my search to the word "gnoll" and not looking over the Reaper line further.
I have a feeling my players may have a nasty surprize in the near future. Thanks for the help.
