Well, things aren't looking good for me for Wayfinder #4. Despite the fact that the theme for the upcoming issue would have worked well with my growing list of characters and their backgrounds, I'm working 12- to 16-hour days for the entirety of the month. That schedule is preventing me from getting any writing done.

Things will slow down right after the submission deadline, however, so I'm still very interested in helping with editorial work. (I'll send you a separate e-mail, Liz.)

Good luck to everyone who is submitting!

The Exchange

Submitted!

Writing that made me hungry... ;)

Dear LDQV & Butterfrog,
I still hope to be able to get something in, but at this point things are really sucking here, and I have just lost home PC access for an unknown period of time - possibly a week or more.

I'll try (if public library time allows) to get back to check this thread next week.

Charles Evans 25.

Dark Archive

Ugh! So many ideas, so little time... Soricel is cooking something up....

Wouldn't be a proper Wayfinder without some tales from the road. :D

Only a little over a week for closing the article submissions... better hurry up if you want to submit guys!

Scarab Sages

I just sent off the Greenhorns IV submission. Let me know if you don't get it.

The Exchange

Lilith, I might have a problem with my entry.

A little over count, but sent. I blame Guy Humual and his prose. :p

Tomorrow, tomorrow, we love you tomorrow...because that's the deadline for Wayfinder #4!

Whew, just submitted mine Liz. Hope you get it. :D

End of the month & end of the fiscal quarter, so I'm pulling a 16hr day today, but you'll have my submission tomorrow--I just want one last look before I fire if off ;)

Sovereign Court

I apologize for waiting til the last minute! it was nearly done for a week, but I needed a few days to get some distance before checking it for clarity, mistakes and readability.

working on two pieces of art for my submission now. :)

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

Yay! Another Guy/Fang teamup. More Mousefeet poetry (I hope), and some lovin' from Jess! Nice!

I thought you said Mousefreet there for a sec.

ohhh, adam you like the poems?

Sovereign Court

Oh crap! I missed this one! Dang it.

<kicks the ground and mutters about having to wait until #5>

I figure that one way or another it's pointless to submit any fiction I have around, but I have just emailed a crunch piece in.

Yep!

I cut my writing teeth on poems and reading yours in Wayfinder made me revisit them, so thanks!

Shadow Lodge

Is there an auto-mail saying the submission was received?

Because if there was, I didn't get one, so I'm wondering if it got lost...

Art orders will ome soon now guys, so, color yourselves up!

Ack!

;)

Sovereign Court

I added some fiction. I thought I'd better try to get another Boswic take in.

Sovereign Court

Did you get enough submissions Lilith? When do you think you can tell us who made the cut?

The Exchange

I hate to say but the timing was like last year's RPG Superstar. Joshua Frost's plea for more Pathfinder Society Scenarios was way way way overshadowed by the contest.

As in this case, a lot of writers were fairly overtaken by the Pathfinder Fiction Contest until it closed on Sept 12th. After that they must have been a little burnt out. Look at the previous Wayfinder messageboard post counts.

578?

This post is like 92 or something. I know about 150 of the previous Wayfinder posts were people pestering for when it would be out, but still. If I was the community, I would be working on something crunch related because Lilith never get's enough of that. Not sure if there was a drout on stories. Some crunch people are also fiction people.

Scarab Sages

Do we need more submissions? And if so, of what sort?

If it come through, it may become a permanent feature... :D

Liberty's Edge Contributor

I'm really bummed that I wasn't able to work on a submission, this time. Things are still crazy, but if there's a need for content of a certain variety, I might be able to work on something.

I'm not real confident in my "crunch"...not sure how the Linnorm bloodline was received in Wayfinder #2. But I can try to come up with something Mwangi-esque.

Otherwise, I might be able to get back in the saddle and crank out that fiction piece I wanted to write for it. It's a piece inspired by events in my other submissions.

Obviously, the deadline's passed, but if there's still a need, I might be able to help.

I say if you have some bit of time write it :P

if it doesn't go up now, it will go on Wayfinder #5 and we want to know more about those stories :P

Heh. Thanks. I think I'll do that. Of course, Wayfinder #5's theme might require me to tweak the story a bit. We'll have to see...

In the meantime, I think I know where I can put a Pathfinder tale or two, don't you? ;) I'm looking forward to rejoining the group once my life gets back to something less stressful.

And, as I've mentioned before, I'm very interested in doing some editing for Wayfinder #4, if needed.

So keep striving, and good luck man :)
